Seventeen-year-old Callie is a spirit witch— a sect of supernatural beings that not only have control over the four elements, but life itself. However, all her power is little help when trying to save Nolan from the curse that is slowly killing him, because she can’t cure what she doesn’t understand. With the knowledge of the original spell locked in the fuzzy memories of Nolan’s comatose evil-ex-girlfriend, Callie is forced to rely on a different kind of expert: Nolan’s grandmother and leading physician in vampire biology, Doctor Dalia Callidus, but she’s not the only family that’s come to visit.
Meanwhile, Connor struggles with his duties as Alpha and the return of his estranged mother. Felix attempts to build new bonds with the family and friends that James, the original host of his reanimated body, loved most. Donovan is forced to face his future, and Kaleb stands at a crossroads between what he wants and what is the right thing to do.
In this engrossing, paranormal, reverse harem, join Callie and her guys as they navigate their budding romantic relationships, what it means to be family, and how to remain hopeful in the darkest of times.
