Cain
I can’t let them take her from me again. She’s mine, and I will do whatever it takes to keep her safe, but with Marlo in the mix, that’s easier said than done. He wants to use her as a bargaining chip to win a war that I have no intention of letting her near. I don’t care how long I have to wait or how far I have to go to protect her. Brielle DelaCourt will get to choose, and I will hand my life over to The Fates to ensure she gets her happily ever after.

Bri
Sometimes, I wish I could go back to when I knew nothing—about this world, this war, or myself—back to the girl who knew what she wanted and where she was headed. Everyone tells me I have choices and can decide my path. But I’m not a fool; they all want something from me, the Unawakened. I’m tired of feeling like I’m just a piece on someone else’s chessboard. As much as I crave my old life, I know it’s never coming back. I’ve been kidnapped, threatened, and treated like a pawn in a game I barely understand. All I know is it’s time I start controlling my destiny.

With war looming in the state, the LLC tries to balance the scales. How far will Marlo go to get what he wants? Will the Vegas Pack be able to shield Bri from her uncertain future? And, If she chooses to accept Cain as her Mate, will the Vegas Pack survive the fallout?
