Ivy, Carter, Lex, and Miri risk it all for their happily ever after in this action-packed finale to the Midsummer series.

If we shadows have offended, Think but this, and all is mended: That you have but slumbered here, While these visions did appear

Miri

I know what happens if I stay away from my spouses, but I need to keep them safe. I can’t be near them, not if the king of fairies can manipulate my memories so easily.

When the Washington-Fairfax wedding doesn’t go to plan, I have no choice but to face the loves of my life and deal with the consequences of my actions.

The end is drawing near, the queen of fairies doesn’t remember who she is, and even those closest to us can’t be trusted. Fairy-tales aren’t supposed to end in heartache, but I can’t see how we get out of this one unscathed.

Carter

I thought watching the girl of my dreams marry my best friend would gut me alive, but that day messed me up for very different reasons. Betrayal aches like salt in a wound, especially when I didn’t see it coming.

Planning to take down a fairy king wasn’t how I wanted to spend time with my spouses, but I’ve always been sentimental. I’d do whatever it takes to save them, even if it means sacrificing myself.

Endings have always been hard, and this one is going to hurt like a son of a bitch.
