He might be a hero, but he was also a heartbreak waiting to happen.

Sara –

After dating the stalker of her best friend, Sara was done with relationships.

To get away from the memories of Seattle, she found herself working in an upscale bar and lounge for her ex-boyfriend in San Francisco.

It was a far cry from running her own hair salon, but Sara enjoyed it for the most part. Her ex was an okay guy and while she didn’t have any romantic feelings for him, he was safe.

But then Levi Huxley showed up and all her defenses went to hell.

Levi was a heartbreak waiting to happen. Now to top it all off, she might be pregnant.

Levi –

He only wanted to find Sara to make sure she was safe and deliver the news back to her family and best friend.

What started out as a job, ended up being so much more—something he had never anticipated. Sara was sultry, smart, and sexy, and Levi couldn’t stop thinking about her nor seeking her out.

He really should walk away…his life was filled with too many secrets. And secrets had a way of coming out. So when his covert ops team shows up, Levi will do whatever it takes to keep Sara safe.

But he lied to her and just like secrets, lies have a life of their own.

He was no hero, that’s for sure, but he couldn’t quit Sara and he sure the hell wasn’t walking away.
