AJ
Walking away from Rosalie Wells was hard, but she deserved a life that was free from the dark shadows that would always follow me. So, I said goodbye and boarded a one-way flight to Japan.
Here, life is a cycle of meaningless routines. By leaving LA, I thought I could let her go, but my mind always drifts back to the woman I left behind.
Until the night I meet Raven. A woman whose eyes lock with mine and mirror my strength and pain. I’ll never stop loving Rosalie. But maybe, with Raven, I can find something worth holding on to again.

Raven
After a tragedy forced my hand, my destiny became sealed. To protect my sisters, I’ll do anything—even marry one of the most dangerous Yakuza leaders in the city. Soon, fate will lock me in a cage.
As my last days of freedom slip away, a man with a battered heart and haunted eyes shows me a glimpse of what life could be. Maybe falling for him will be the most reckless decision of my life.
But AJ gives me a taste of something I thought I’d lost forever—hope. I just have to decide if trying to mend his shattered heart is worth risking everything. Even our lives.
