This competition is anything but friendly…

Aubrey Dennison has no time for romantic entanglements. She’s content with a secret crush on #hotchef Liam Linley. Even though his restaurant is one door down from her patisserie, she’s never let him get close. Aubrey’s six years older, and a mom to a tweenager. They’d never work in real life. When their eccentric landlord crafts a scheme for them to compete over a mutually coveted restaurant space and a ten-thousand-dollar prize, she’s forced to spend time with the man she’s always kept at arm’s length.
Liam’s hot chef rep means he’s outgrown his small restaurant space. He needs to expand if he wants to stay in his hometown of Port Fortune, Virginia. The only problem is that Aubrey won’t back down. Once she lets her cold facade drop, Liam’s charmed. But she’s a beautiful distraction standing between him and his dreams.
Sparks fly as they compete. It’s a bad idea to take their fling seriously. Even if they weren’t in direct competition, it’s almost impossible for two busy chefs to make time for a relationship. If they want the real deal, they’ll have to realize their heat isn’t confined to the kitchen.
