There’s no better revenge than seducing your fiancé’s father…until you fall in love with him.

The reclusive Duke of Devonford, Ashley Stuart, carries the weight of many sins—including his wife’s death. Which is why he vows to bury the forbidden desire he harbors for his son’s fiancé. When that very woman arrives at Ash’s castle in the middle of a stormy night, determined to seduce him, the only thing on his mind is returning her to London with haste—until the deluge outside leaves the roads impassable.
Lady Felicity Jennings is destined for greatness…if greatness is a never-ending betrothal to a petulant ducal heir. Until an opportunity for escape and revenge presents itself. All she needs to do? Indulge in a little infidelity of her own—with her fiancé’s father. The world is about to see what this genteel lady hides beneath her charm and grace.
It’s the perfect plan—until it’s not. The Duke turns out to be nothing like his unprincipled son. A kiss ignites emotions Ash thought he’d locked away. Felicity’s heart is stolen in a whirlwind of a dance. No amount of Ash hiding in storage closets or inventing odd habits deters Felicity. And just as each reaches their breaking point—Ash’s son shows up.
