Rasha is the fiercest huntress in her clan.

Chosen to act as the Maiden of Yule, she is at the crux of the Viking clans for the twelve nights of feasting. Lighting a fire she sends a prayer to the goddesses from the immortal realm to help her find a way out of an oppressive betrothal. She plans on leading her people into the mountains to the hidden reindeer herd but she’ll need the power of Skadi’s ancient bow.
Except Rasha’s brother will stop at nothing to ensure his position and his alliance with the Jarl of Aske threatens the livelihood of all the Viking women and Rasha’s freedom.
When an injured Lynx brings her to the forge of the blacksmith living in the Sacred Forest, she discovers she isn’t alone in searching for Skadi’s bow.
Will their equal desires crush her chances at survival? Or will their smoldering relationship forge a new fate?
