He doesn’t fit in with my future plans but I can’t stop thinking about him. And honestly, with Bam at my back, I feel like I can do anything.

I’ve got no family and no future. Joining a gang was a natural move for someone like me. I take each day on its own, happy I’m still alive. Meeting Josie tilts my world. I’m starting to think tomorrow might be just as important as today so long as Josie’s in it. She ventures into places I don’t think are safe, but her light’s so bright I can’t hold her back. All I know is that if she lets me, I’ll watch her back forever.
