He thinks she’s responsible for his teammate’s death and the end of his military career.

Donovan “Van” Braddock is no stranger to pain or loss. While he’s learned the hard way that time doesn’t actually heal all wounds, the idea of revenge sure does seem to help. After years without answers, he and his Eagle’s Nest teammates are finally getting close to uncovering the truth about their former SEAL brother’s murder. There isn’t anything they won’t do to bring down those responsible, including kidnapping the exotic beauty thought to be the ringleader behind it all.

She’s determined to find her mother’s murderer and make them pay.

Kaamisha Dawari grew up surrounded by war. It stole her home, her father, and most recently…her mother. She wants nothing more than to get her revenge, but when she’s handed the names of the men who were supposedly responsible for her mother’s death, Kaamisha gets the feeling that something isn’t quite right. With her mother’s instincts and her father’s skills, she sets out on a quest for the truth. What she finds along the way is so much more than she ever expected. But while Van draws her in unlike anyone else ever has, another person to love meant someone else she could lose.

The truth is more shocking than either could have imagined.

What starts out as a deadly interaction soon becomes something so powerful and deep, neither Van nor Kaamisha are prepared for what it means. As these two enemies-to-lovers face an unbearable truth, the entire team of Eagle’s Nest Securities comes together for one final showdown. It’s good versus evil in a fight to the death. And there can only be one winner.
