Steffanie Price wishes for one thing that’s impossible to wish for – a time machine. One night changed everything for her, and not in a good way. Now the shadows from that fateful event linger around her, threatening to consume her until there’s no way out. She longs for some normalcy. For being who she used to be. Deciding to stop being a victim she attends a party, but from the moment she walks in, she knows it’s a mistake. Her memories pound her, until a warm set of hands with a quiet strength bring her back and a sense of safety surrounds her.

Dalton ‘Jag’ Jaeger has never forgotten the night he rescued Steffanie. How she’d curled herself into him and trusted him, when everything she’d known had been snatched from her. Helping her when she needs it, is an easy decision for him. She needs his support and protection and he’s going to give it to her.

Just when Steffanie has control of her life again, the past resurfaces and the danger she and Jag believe is gone, is even more sinister now than it had been in the past.

Trust freely given is broken and someone has the power to bring more than one person down. Jag has to trust Steffanie is strong enough to get through it, because losing her is not an option.
