Sara Barrett can’t shake the haunting memory of the handsome Highlander who swept into her life from sixteenth-century Scotland. Consumed by the need to be with him, she abandons everything–her home, her brother, her very existence and embarks on a daring journey back in time. But first, she must persuade the witch, Edna Campbell, to send her across the centuries. Edna warns her of grave dangers, yet Sara is unwavering, determined to follow her heart.

Logan MacPhail has spent years trying to forget the beautiful woman he met when he ventured into the future. But when she unexpectedly appears in his world, it’s to find him bound by an unbreakable vow. Reluctantly, Logan urges Sara to return to her time, but her shattered heart leads her on a perilous journey through the rugged Scottish Highlands. She’s ready to risk everything for love–but will it be enough to make Logan forsake his oath and follow his heart?
