The most powerful kind of love isn’t one that claims but one that prioritizes patience and consent.

Erik Halvorsen knows the moment he meets Claire Bennett that she’s the one for him. The Pull he feels toward her can’t be denied. Sweet, gentle, and everything he could hope for in a partner, Claire quickly becomes his whole world.

“When something is yours to protect, you do not fail it.” Erik has lived by these words his entire life. His enemies are circling, and his determination is strong, yet he finds himself facing his worst nightmare.
When Claire vanishes, Erik will do everything possible to get her back. However, the search for his world continues, and he realizes that time is not in his favor. As the days pass, Erik fears he may be too late.
When he finds Claire, how will she be changed? What traumas will she have faced? Will he be what she needs to heal?
With so many unanswered questions, Erik clings to one truth: Claire is his. His to protect. His to love…always.
