Hating the Boss
Having a baby with my billionaire boss? That certainly wasn’t in the job description when I agreed to be his alleged girlfriend.
They say first impressions count. Especially when you need a job urgently.
But what if you turn up for an interview as an assistant at „Stellar Industries“ and find yourself face to face with the arrogant guy you spilled your coffee on his tailor-made suit in the elevator just moments before?
I should have left as soon as he called me a ‘clumsy chick’.
I shouldn’t have stared at his perfect smile and even more perfect body.
And I definitely shouldn’t have stayed when he offered me an indecently high salary to be his assistant.
But with a sick sister and a mountain of debt, you’ll do anything to get the only job that can help you out of your misery.
Mr. Arrogant lets me organize his endless meetings and business lunches. That’s what he calls it when he meets his “pussies”.
But now he has to polish up his image for an important client and show that he is “sensible” and “down to earth”.
So I, of all people, have to pretend to the world that I’m his girlfriend.
This also explains the salary – which he bluntly admits.
During the day, we convince everyone that we are a perfect team.
Behind the scenes, however, he is unchanged and drives me crazy.
We argue all the time – at least until we fall wildly, greedily and loudly over each other and spend one hot night after another.
But then the shock: I’m pregnant – by a guy I can’t stand.
At least that’s what I thought, but why do I always stare at him for so long?
And what will he say when he finds out? I can’t hide my growing baby bump under more and more clothes forever.
