She was the girl of his dreams…
Cody Sawyer first met Maddie in high school when they sat next to each other in history class. Maddie was soft-spoken, studious, and extremely organized, not to mention beautiful. In many ways, she was his opposite, yet, he was attracted to her from the start.

He was her best friend…
Maddie Harris didn’t like Cody at first. He was outgoing (some would say loud), flirtatious (some would say a player), and unorganized (some would say messy). However, he was also charming, funny, and extremely good looking (some would say HOT!). Somehow she and Cody became best friends, and since they were opposites, she decided that was all it would ever be.

She would never be his…
Thinking Maddie was too good for him, Cody introduced her to his friend, Wyatt, which turned out to be the biggest mistake of his life. Now they’re engaged, and Cody is forced to sit back and watch the girl of his dreams marry someone else.

He’s the first one she turns to…
When Maddie discovers something that causes doubts about Wyatt and their future, she turns to Cody for help, which brings up a slew of feelings she’s tried to bury. As Cody helps her uncover Wyatt’s secrets, she worries he’ll uncover hers too. Did she make a big mistake by getting Cody involved, or will she finally realize her Mountain Dreams?
