He bends down and captures my mouth, the kiss hungry and possessive enough to make my head spin while Tyler keeps hammering into me from behind. Mack’s hand slips between my thighs, thumb circling my clit with devastating precision.

My entire body lights up.

“Mack…Ty…”

“I know, baby.”

“Gimme one more, Trouble.”

It feels like my entire soul leaves my body.

Has sex always felt this good, or have I just been doing it wrong until now?

Tyler somehow finds another gear while Mack’s thumb presses exactly where I need it and the release tears through me so hard the edges of my vision flash white. I cry out against Mack’s lips while Tyler follows a heartbeat later with a groan, both hands cinching around my hips hard enough to leave a mark while he comes apart behind me.

We stay tangled together for a moment, Tyler still half-collapsed against my back with his forehead resting against my shoulder while Mack brushes his lips against my temple.

“Christ,” Tyler mutters against the back of my neck eventually.

“Mm,” I manage.

That’s about all I’ve got.

I can still feel Tyler inside me, warm and pulsing every time he exhales against my skin. My entire body feels oversensitized in the aftermath, every place they touched me still carrying the memory of their hands.

Mack finally eases back enough to rest his forehead against mine, his hand still tangled at the base of my neck while he looks at me through the dark like he’s trying to memorize something.

Tyler eventually pulls out almost reluctantly before dropping onto the mattress beside me. I start to tip forward with him, but Mack catches me before I get very far, one arm circling my waist and drawing me back against his chest.

We lie in comfortable silence for a while after that.

The room settles around us, only a thin wash of streetlight slipping through the curtains. It’s enough to pick out the shape of Tyler sprawled across the sheets beside us and the slow rise and fall of Mack’s chest where I’m tucked against him.

I can feel all three of our heartbeats working to find the same rhythm again.

At some point Tyler reaches for me again without ever opening his eyes, one arm hooking around my shoulder and dragging me across the bed until I end up tucked between them both under the covers. Mack shifts with me automatically, his warm chest against my back while Tyler drapes one of my legs over his.

I stare at the ceiling for a while, listening to their breathing even out around me while my thoughts scramble to catch up with the rest of me.

When I lean back slightly, Mack’s arm firms around my waist before relaxing again, thumb dragging once over bare skin underneath the sheet. Tyler makes a low sound against my other shoulder as he inches a fraction closer toward me.

It feels terrifyingly easy to stay exactly where I am.

Mack hums something I can’t make out before pressing a sleepy kiss against the back of my shoulder and going still again.

I close my eyes, but the same thought keeps finding me anyway, returning every few seconds like touching a bruise.

I don’t want this to stop.

And lying here between them while they hold me in their sleep, I can finally feel the part of me that’s been waiting for this to disappear to start to loosen its grip.

CHAPTER THIRTY-FOUR

The reservation is Tyler’s idea. The follow-through is mine.

I made it Tuesday afternoon, standing in the station kitchen between calls while Tyler kept Coop occupied arguing about whether tomato soup is just hot ketchup. I spent twenty minutes comparing rooftop restaurants, as if ambiance were suddenly something I had opinions about.
