“Then hate bang me for the rest of your life,” Rascal taunted and bit my neck. I gasped and tilted back against him. He drew my delicate skin between his teeth as he reached over for his tee and cleaned me up.
“I’m gonna screw your hate daily,” he promised, and I laughed.
“You do that, asshole!” I demanded, spreading my legs again. I had five years to make up for, and I wasn’t anywhere near tired.
“Well, I’m surprised you can walk,” King said the next morning.
“Dude, I needed a good fuck,” I replied, and King gaped, as Clio and Thalia choked on their coffee.
“Damn girl, you own that!” Thalia teased, and I grinned ferally. Thalia blinked and smirked. “Oh, I remember those days.”
“What do you mean? We’re still hot in the sack,” Bear looked shocked as he gazed at Thalia.
“Bear, we have children,” Thalia shot back.
“You’re having the brats tonight,” Bear turned to Chance, who gave Bear a ‘what the hell’ look.
“Apparently, Thalia said Bear doesn’t tear the sheets up anymore. Got to admit, kids are cockblockers,” Clio sighed. Now Chance looked insulted, and I tried not to laugh. I didn’t want to like Hellfire, but this was some funny shit.
“Fanatic!” Chance bellowed.
“Fuck no! I’ve got enough on my hands. Get a prospect!” Fanatic yelled in return.
“Jinx!”
“Yo,” Jinx popped his head through a door. Within seconds, Fanatic tripped over nothing; his breakfast flew through the air and hit the brother called Shotgun. Shotgun jumped backwards, and the coffee flew out of his cup and splashed all over Diesel. Diesel leaned away, and the chair he was sitting in snapped, and he ended up on his back with his legs stuck upwards.
“Holy crap,” his wife Alice laughed, peering over and staring at Diesel, who looked shocked. “Jinx is on form.”
“Where’s Danny?” Six brothers yelled. Willow, Fanatic’s FBI old lady, placidly carried Danny over and placed him in Jinx’s arms. The tension in the room evaporated, and everyone sighed.
“I don’t understand.”
“Things just happen around Jinx. We’ve discovered that Danny neutralises him. The brothers keep trying to convince Fanatic and Willow to let Jinx cart Danny around permanently, but they refuse,” Clio explained.
Alice was laughing as Diesel got up, groaning and rubbing his back.
“Damn,” King said, wide-eyed. “Can’t we throw Jinx at Kira?” I began laughing. That was a funny thought.
“Daddy!” a little girl screamed as Bear shot to his feet.
“Mia Charlotte?” Bear cried, hearing the fear in her voice.
“Bad lady’s trying to take Angelina!”
Chey and Celt were moving before anyone else. They fled out the door with their oldest son, Jesse outstripping them. Everyone raced for the exit, Bear stopping to grab Mia Charlotte. He thrust her at Jinx.
“Protect the children,” he roared. Half of the club’s children were here while the other half were clearly playing outside.
A horrible thought hit me. This had to be Kira! She’d made her move, and not one anyone expected. We raced towards the gate, and we could see a gaggle of kids. They were surrounding someone, and we began to slow down. Whoever it was had no chance.
“Holy fuck, they’re feral!” King muttered as several of us came to a stop.
The stranger was hogtied, covered in paint, with sand thrown on top, and I swear to God I saw the crackle of a taser.
“Make her piss herself!” a little girl shouted and pulled her foot back and kicked their captive. A couple of large dogs bounced around, growling and barking, and it was clear the prisoner was going nowhere.
“Give me that damn taser before you hurt yourself!” Celt yelled and took it off Angelina.
