From there, he circles the table, carefully setting down the very full shot in front of each of us, serving Kenzie last.
“The Tricky Licky is Bunz’s signature shot, and usually sold in pairs. One for the recipient,” he explains, an impish look taking over. His eyes land on me, and I can feel them boring though my clothes. Holy hell. “And the other, for the person of her choice to perform with.”
“Perform?” Sylvie chokes out.
“Yup. This shot”—he holds it up, eyes still locked on me—“is to be taken from between the legs of the recipient, or the person of their choice, without the use of hands.” The weight of his attention feels good, like when a stranger tells you that they like your outfit. I don’t dare look away, not wanting to lose this feeling.
Link winks at me, licking his lips.
Oh, holy fuck…
I swear to God, someone just turned on the heat in here. It went from room temperature to surface of the sun in a heartbeat. Maybe faster.
“I choose you,” Kenzie answers, without skipping a beat. “And Willa.”
Because of course she does.
Walking over to me, Link smirks, and my stomach flips. “You Willa?”
“Sure the fuck am.”
I hear my girlfriends giggle as he pulls my chair away from the table, spinning it—and me—to face him. Crouching down, he places a hand on each knee, slowly opening them wide. A shiver runs down my spine, anticipation coursing through me, waiting on his next move.
The clink of the shot glass against the wood of the chair drowns out all the rest of the background noise, those blue eyes that were trained on me earlier still there, staring back, darkening with each second. Sliding the glass toward me, he stops right as it reaches my crotch, pressed softly against me.
Link crouches down, positioning himself between my open legs. Holy shit—this is happening. In public.
Thank God I didn’t wear a skirt.
Leaning forward, he sticks out his tongue, running it around the sugared rim of the glass. All while still looking up at me. I suck in a breath and close my eyes. It’s all too much.
Trying to relax, I let everything fade away. The restaurant, my friends, the texts. Even the insanely sexy stranger currently perched between my legs.
I feel a nudge at the crotch of my jeans and my imagination takes over. Only, it’s not Link down there. It’s Nash.
It’s his nose nestled in my sex, gruff whispers about how good I smell filling the air. His brown eyes full of lust and desire, ready to tease me. His tongue dancing along my clit, making me scream his name.
An all-consuming craving takes hold, my fingers dying to reach out and grab him. To lose myself in the pleasure I know only he can provide. I want him. So fucking bad I can taste it.
Another nudge, this one followed by a jostle of the chair. It’s enough to knock me out of my spell, bringing me back to the present. To the man between my legs, head thrown back, upturned shot glass in his mouth.
A man who is very much not the one I was fantasizing about.
With another wink—fuck, he is just full of those damn things—Link pushes to his feet. His tongue flicks to each corner of his mouth, another wave of heat washing over me.
“I’ll give you ladies a few minutes and then be back for your order.”
It takes a full minute for the haze in my brain to clear. Scooching my chair back to the table, I blink hard, trying to rid myself of the hunger inside me. But I can’t.
“I’ll be having that,” Bronwyn says, referring to the state he just left me in. If she only knew. “With a side of that, and one to go. But with my fiancé.”
We all laugh, and I shake my head, still trying to get the image of her fiancé’s twin from inside my head. I’ve known the Keller twins all my life, and while at times they might look identical, I know them well enough to know who is who. All it takes is a glance, and I can tell which one I’m looking at. Always have, always will. Because I’d know Nash from ten miles away.
“So, what’d I miss?” KatieRae asks, slipping back into her chair.
If only I could explain…
