“I think she made a weekend of it and flew into Fairbanks.” He scratched his head “Oh, wait. Before she flew in, she ordered what she wanted online then picked it up in Fairbanks.”

“Okay,” Brandon chuckled. “We’ll figure something out. But whatever we do, if we order items online, we should have them sent to the drop box for the Wolf Creek pack.”

Sascha straightened. “Why there? Aren’t I having the baby here, in our home?”

Cam hadn’t gotten that far in his thinking. Thank the gods Brandon was in charge. He supposed there weren’t that many shifter obstetricians hanging around who were familiar with male births.

“No, love. When I met with Asha, she explained that you should be nearby in case the baby comes unexpectedly. Also, I’m not sure if you’re familiar with what Elam went through, but none of our usual doctors would know what to do.”

Sascha gave a little shudder. “Jasper told me after Elam told him.”

Cam drew his eyebrows together. “Oh yeah. That’s right.” Cam glanced between them. “How does the baby get out?”

Sascha let out a groan. “I don’t want to think about it. I’ll tell you later.” He sighed. “When do we have to leave?”

Brandon patted Sascha’s tummy. “Not right away. We’ll take the next couple weeks to get to know each other better, pick out some baby things, then head back to Wolf Creek. I need to be at the next council meeting for the Alliance anyway. We’ll rent a place there for a month, or however long we need. Then once you and the baby can travel, we’ll come home.”

“Home sounds good.” Sasha idly played with one of Cam’s nipples. “Doesn’t it, Cam?”

He gave a shaky laugh as he stilled Sascha’s hand. His cock had gone past interested and straight to nothing else matters.

“Home is awesome.”

Brandon placed his palm over the hand that Cam had rested on Sascha’s. “This was what I wanted. For us to take a few moments together to bond, to begin relating with each other as a family.”

Cam regarded Brandon. “You’re smart. I was ready to keep going. Especially since, you know, you guys didn’t get off.”

Brandon squeezed Cam’s fingers. “We’ll figure it out together, the three of us. That’s what these next couple weeks will be about.” He kissed Cam’s cheek, then leaned across him to give Sascha a quick peck on the lips. “For now, though, I say we continue what we started downstairs.”

Cam grinned then laid all the way down on the bed. He decided that not only was Brandon smart—he was brilliant.
