He’d said so.

He’d made that very clear.

“That’s right, baby.” He gently released the tie and slowly reached up to trace around my neck. “One subtle collar that stays on all the time and another that’s for when you’re naked and caged and beautifully submissive.”

I was never going to be able to think with a collar and a cage on.

The shiver that raced through me as that reality hit made him chuckle and his eyes lit up with wicked excitement. “Every night when you come home, I’m going to get you ready first thing. Then I’ll decide how to use you, but Sundays are still going to be my favorite.”

Because I belonged to him completely on Sundays.

I was all his.

“All mine.” Master’s fingers made one last slow caress around the base of my neck. “My beautiful boy.”

Before I could even begin to gather up random words for any kind of sentence, Master smiled and released my neck. It was like he was looking at the most amazing Christmas tree and presents were piled all around it, but I was his tree and his present and everything all wrapped up into one.

Letting out a soft, emotion-filled breath, Master brushed his lips against mine as I just stood there.

Shaking.

When had I started to shake?

I didn’t notice it until his hands moved away from me but he saw everything and mimed taking a deep breath. I obeyed which got a tender smile from him and a nod. “Good boy.”

Me.

I was his good boy.

I was going to be his collared boy.

Master stroked my cheek. “One second, baby. Then you’re going to feel steady again.”

I liked feeling steady.

My concrete Master.

He was steady and I was going to belong to him.

Time was moving funny because one second he was reaching for the nightstand and the next he was holding a silver-looking chain in front of me. “Baby?”

Me.

I was his baby.

“That’s…that will…it’ll be…” I could do it. Swallowing hard as he nodded again, I made my voice work. “That’s my…my permanent collar? The one I get to wear…to wear all the time?”

Master mimed taking another breath as he shifted his hands to show me the ends of the flat necklace. “Yes. Once I secure these ends together, it’ll have to be cut off.”

When he paused, I realized he wanted some kind of acknowledgement from me, but all I could do was nod as the boulder in my throat blocked everything else.

“This isn’t a ring to show the rest of the world our cute little commitment. It’s not temporary. It’s not something you have to choose to put on every morning.” Master’s almost angry tone said he remembered when Valerie had thrown her ring at me.

It was so far from where I was currently it was like watching a movie, but it still hurt Master. No one got to hurt me when Master was around.

“You’ll go to bed knowing you belong to me.” Smiling again, he brushed his lips against mine as he talked about how he’d own me. “You’ll wake up feeling the weight around your neck. When you’re sitting in your office, stressed and frustrated, you’ll feel me right there with you.”

Because I belonged to him.
