“That’s…that’s important.” Words. Thoughts. Questions. Words. Thoughts. Questions. “Guessing is…it’s so…it’s exhausting.”

Master didn’t make me guess.

Masters were in control.

Casimir liked being in control.

I didn’t have to guess with Casimir.

“I’m going to make sure you always know what will please me and you’re always going to make sure I have your thoughts. That’s going to please me too.” Master liked being pleased. I liked him being pleased. We’d all be pleased. “Tell me one thought and then you’re going to just relax for me with your eyes closed.”

Eyes closed.

Relaxed.

One thought.

One thought.

“This is nice, Master.”

Yes.

That was a good thought.

****

“That grumpy face is making me think I need to get your cage out.” Casimir smirked as he straddled my lap, probably remembering how stupid the cage had made me. “But that might be rewarding you for hiding what you’re thinking.”

Maybe?

I wasn’t sure I had to admit that, though.

“I’m not grumpy.” I didn’t know what I was, but I didn’t think I was grumpy. I’d just felt weird since he’d taken it off. “I’d say I was fine but you wouldn’t believe me.”

He barked out a laugh as he settled on my lap with wiggles and kisses. “Nope, so try again.”

As I thought, because that was what he wanted, he reached over to the table and picked up his cup, moaning around his coffee. “How do you make this so good?”

Measuring the grounds and following the directions.

He didn’t want to hear that answer again, though, because it hadn’t satisfied him the first two times. Trying something else sounded better than dissecting my feelings, so I focused on that instead. I could do something cute.

I was smart enough for cute.

No.

I could remember what other subs had said online, though.

I was definitely smart enough for that, so as he set his cup back down, I kissed his neck and nuzzled against him. “It’s good because I made it special for you.”

Practice…I needed practice to make that sound smooth and cute, but it sent a shiver through him as his eyes sparkled. “I like that more than I probably should.”

Good.

It might save me from having to think about my emotions.

“It’s true, so I’m glad you like it.” I’d liked making it for him, especially because he was what should probably be considered a hot mess in the kitchen. “I’m also going to like making you dinner later.”
