“I’m coming!”
Her pussy tightens and pulses around me, and my own climax pummels forward. I lean over her and bite her right in the fleshy part of her neck and shoulder.
She cries out. I taste her blood. She comes again and the bond locks in place.
Love the man and the bear.
It’s not so much that I can hear her thoughts, but I can feel what she’s feeling, and it’s pure, radiant love.
“I love you too,” she says.
I lick at her wound to help it heal and to keep it from hurting. I can feel my own injury on my leg healing now that my bear is sated.
Mine.
Yes, ours.

The problem with being mated to an enormous bear shifter is birthing his enormous children. I waddle my way out onto the front porch, where I find Marcus sitting with our six-year-old and four-year-old. The two-year-old just went down for a nap, and I’ve got another giant baby cooking in my oven.
Abner, though he’s older and moves a bit slower now, sleeps on the end of the porch. He’s been protective of the kids since they were born.
Marcus stands immediately when he sees me.
“Sweetness, everything okay?”
“I’m swollen, sweaty, tired and I have to pee every seven minutes. So yeah, I’m peachy.” I lower myself into the rocking chair.
“Mama, look,” Caden, our oldest holds up a small wooden carving of a bear.
“Did you do that?” I ask.
He nods enthusiastically.
“You’re brilliant, my son.” Then Colten comes over holding a less discernible piece of wood.
“Look.” He hands it to me.
“Well, you are brilliant too. All my boys out here.” They’re my world, Marcus and our sons, and my napping princess, Jewel.
“Want me to rub your feet or your back?” Marcus asks.
“Yes. All of that. Simultaneously.”
He chuckles. “Anything for you, mate.” He kisses my forehead. “The princess go down for her nap okay?”
I nod.
“You should have laid down with her.” He puts a big palm on my rounded belly. “You’re doing all the hard work growing our next baby in there. Have I told you lately how much I love you? How proud I am of you?”
“Not in at least an hour.”
“Son of a fish, I hate mushy stuff,” Caden mumbles. “I’m not gonna have a mate when I grow up.”
Marcus chuckles. “Famous last words, my boy. Mates are a gift. The greatest gift, in fact. You will be blessed if you find one.”
