I nod my head and before I can answer anything, Wizard comes walking up to the table.

“I need to talk to you. We should head up to my room, I’ve got some shit you should see. It’s better that way, so I don’t have to explain everything.”

I go to stand up and tell the brothers at the table I will talk to them later, then I follow behind Wizard up to his room, or as I like to say his tiny little tech cave. We walk in and he pulls up a second chair for me to sit in. He then starts doing shit on the keyboard and stuff starts popping up on the monitors.

“Alright, so I was doing some digging on your girl and I can’t actually get access to any of her information. There is a system that is blocking me out. I type her name in and whatever or whoever is blocking anyone from finding her gets alerted. Watch this.”

He starts typing again and I watch the screen, he does enter Liza’s name into the bar and whatever else he is entering and an alert pops up on his screen and then it is like he is fighting with a system. I’m no tech person, but it seems like someone is trying to hack him back.

“Whoever is hiding her is trying to hack into my system as I try to hack into his. All I was able to get from any of this is that it has to do with the Skullz.”

I shoot my head towards him, “The Skullz? Do you know which chapter? Or which one of the brothers is protecting her information?”

“I’m pretty sure it’s Glitch. I’ve worked with him a couple of times and the coding reads like his. I thought I would let you know what I found before I made the call to see if it was him. I figured you also would want to be here for that call. I don’t know if it is, but he might be able to lead me in the right direction, since that is the national chapter.”

I nod my head and he pulls out his phone. He finds the contact he is looking for and puts the phone on speaker.

“Glitch.”

“Yeah, Glitch, it’s Wizard. Devil’s Chaos, Richmond Chapter.”

“Yeah, I know, I have your number saved. What can I do for you?”

“I’ve been trying to look into someone who is involved with a member of our club. I seem to be running into some resistance and every time I try to dig deeper someone or someone’s coding tries to hack my system right back. The coding, all of it screams you or someone who was trained with you. I was wondering if you could give me some answers to that.”

“Well depends, who are you looking into?”

“Come on Glitch, how many people are you hiding? You don’t even do this shit for your members, you know who I am talking about.”

“Listen, I’m going to need you to spell the shit out for me. If it is who I think you are talking about, I’m going to need to head to a different room.”

“Liza Monroe.”

There is a grunt of acknowledgement on the other end of the line and you can hear movement.

“Give me one minute. I’m headed to my room. Soundproof walls and all that.”

A few minutes later you can hear a door open and a lock engage.

“Alright, I’m by myself. What do you need to know about Liza?”

“Well for starters, who is she to you? I mean, she has to mean something to you if you are going through all these lengths to protect her.” Wiz says.

“Okay, listen, a lot of her story is not mine to tell. I can tell you that she is like a sister to me. If I continue to share any information with her this needs to stay hidden. She could be in danger if shit gets out. So if I continue, this stays with brothers you trust and no one else.”

Fuck. What is going on?

“We agree, I’m here with Dragon.”

“Dragon? As in baby daddy, Dragon?”

“Hold on! How the hell do you know that she’s pregnant and having a baby with me?”

“Well dumbass, she has a burner that I coded for her that she talks to me regularly on and then she talks to her siblings at least once a month.”

“Okay, well, why the hell is she in danger? Danger from what?”

“That is our club business and part of her past that she can tell you if she wants. It’s up to her, not me.”
