Bo and Jensen slide into the seats on either side of me like it’s the most natural thing in the world. They crowd me without even trying with their broad shoulders, long legs, and that clean masculine scent that clings to them. My whole body ignites. Heat rushes over my skin, and my traitorous nipples tighten against my bra.
Bo’s hand settles on my lower back and his thumb strokes slow circles exactly like he did that night two months ago. Jensen leans in on my other side resting his elbow on the table, with that easy, devastating smile in place.
“Evening, ladies,” Jensen says cheerfully. “Hope we’re not interrupting. We couldn’t stay away from Brandy any longer.”
Annie’s mouth drops open. Then she grins like a cat who got into the cream up to the neck.
I want the floor to open up and swallow me. Instead, I sit frozen between them, hyper-aware of every point of contact. Bo’s heat on one side. Jensen’s playful, teasing energy on the other. Surrendering to Bo alone had been mind-blowing. Surrendering to them together? I might not survive it. And a reckless, touch-starved part of me wants to find out exactly how good it would feel to burn to dust.
Jensen’s knee brushes mine under the table. “You okay, darlin’? You’re looking a little dazed.”
Bo’s hand slides higher on my back, possessive and soothing all at once. “Breathe, sweetheart,” he murmurs, low enough that only I can hear. “We’ve got you. Say yes.”
Lord help me. I press my thighs together and try to remember how to form words.
Annie raises her margarita in a toast. “To Brandy finally getting the handling she deserves. Happy birthday to her!”
The table erupts in laughter. I bury my face in my hands for a second, but I’m smiling against my better judgment.
Bo leans in closer, lips brushing my ear. “You don’t have to decide right now. But when you’re ready… we’re right here.”
Jensen winks from my other side. “And we’re very, very patient. Unless you ask us not to be.”
I look from one devastatingly handsome face to the other, identical but so different. Bo’s quiet intensity is there in his serious eyes that wait patiently for me to decide what happens next. Jensen’s warm charm escapes through his smiling mouth that dares me to agree with his brother and say yes.
The promise of being completely taken care of, even if it’s only for one night, rests between us.
One final foolish night for the memory bank? Can I really do it? Should I?
I take a slow breath around my hammering heart and whisper, “Okay.”
They both go still, then Bo’s hand tightens on my hip, and Jensen’s grin turns hungry.
I’m not going to be able to walk tomorrow. They’re probably going to ruin me.
But God… I want to let them.
Chapter 7
Jensen
“Okay”
I go still for half a second, letting Brandy’s answer sink in. This gorgeous, fire-eyed woman who spent the last ten minutes caught between Bo and me, laughing and softening, is actually saying yes to both of us. A grin spreads across my face before I can stop it, probably looking more eager than it should. I’m the big, bad wolf ready to devour Little Red Riding Hood, from her curves to her sweet, sweet muffin.
I catch Bo’s eye over the top of her curls and give my brother the tiniest nod. We got her.
Brandy’s cheeks are flushed with that rich, warm brown that makes me want to taste every inch of her skin. She’s staring down at her margarita like it might offer her an escape route, but her thighs are pressed together under the table, and her breathing has gone shallow. She’s nervous. Turned on. Fighting that big, responsible brain of hers. Giving in to those baser urges that I can’t wait to experience.
I fucking love it.
“Darlin’,” I murmur, leaning in so my lips brush the shell of her ear, “you made my whole damn year.”
She lets out a shaky laugh and buries her face in her hands again, but the smile she’s trying to hide is way too obvious. There’s mischief behind her serious façade. Mischief and wickedness. “Let’s get out of here,” she whispers.
Bo’s watching her like she’s the only person in the bar. I know that look. He’s already half-gone for her. Has been since that first night. It means a lot that he’s willing to bring me into something he’s already set up. This whole proposition was a risk, and he took it for my benefit. I know why, too. He wants more with this woman, and our plan for the future is to share a wife and a life.
Brandy peeks through her fingers at me. Her dark eyes are wide and a little glassy from the margaritas and a whole lot of overwhelming heat.
