I kick.
Twist.
Bite whatever I can reach.
“Get off me!”
The passenger window shatters.
Another hand unlocks the door.
I lunge toward the console.
Too late.
The passenger door opens.
Someone grabs me around the waist.
“No!”
I claw at the steering wheel.
My fingernails scrape leather.
“Get her out!”
I kick backward.
My heel connects with something.
A man curses.
“Hold still!”
“Fuck you!”
I slam my elbow into his face.
He grunts.
For one second his grip loosens.
I run.
Straight into the trees.
Snow fills my boots.
Branches tear at my coat.
I don’t look back.
“Get her!”
I run harder.
My lungs burn.
