“He kidnapped you,” Razor announced.

“To keep me away from you,” she argued.

“And how'd that work out for you?” Razor asked. “I still found you.”

Ghost took one step forward. “Keep talking.”

Razor looked at him. “Touchy.”

“Ghost,” Jackhammer warned.

“I'm fine,” Ghost insisted, but he wasn't, and neither was Jackhammer.

Monster took control of the situation. “Everybody lowers their weapons, and we can have a calm discussion.” Nobody moved, and Monster sighed. “Apparently I wasn't clear.”

His gun remained aimed at Razor. “The Nomad Knights need to lower their weapons.”

Razor smiled. “Or what?” Monster pulled the trigger, and the bullet hit the dirt inches from Razor's boot. He jumped, and Monster smiled.

“Or my next one moves six inches higher,” Monster warned. Jackhammer almost hoped that the asshole refused to follow Monster’s orders. Razor slowly lowered his gun, and his men followed. “Kick them away,” Monster said. They did, and Mayhem and Riot collected the weapons.

Monster looked at Angel. “You hurt?”

“No,” she said. “They drugged me earlier to get me out of the clubhouse, but I think that it’s finally wearing off.

Jackhammer's head snapped toward her. “What?”

“I'm fine,” she insisted.

“Who drugged you?” Hammer asked.

She pointed at Crow, and Jackhammer started toward him. Angel grabbed his kutte. “Hammer.”

“He fucking drugged you,” Hammer growled.

“He was trying to save me,” she insisted.

“He could've knocked on the goddamn door instead of drugging and kidnapping you,” Hammer countered.

“Technically, he did come through the window,” she teased.

“That is not helping,” Hammer barked.

Ghost crouched beside Crow. “You kidnapped her?”

Crow looked up. “You Ghost?”

“Yes,” Ghost said.

“Expected you to be uglier,” Crow breathed. Jackhammer barked out a laugh, and Ghost stared at him.

“I might like this guy,” Hammer said.

“I don't,” Ghost grumbled.

Crow looked across the barn at him. “You must be Jackhammer?”

“Hammer,” he corrected.
