“Yes,” she says, her lips still against mine and her eyes closed as she gives in to the pleasure of my touch.
“I’ve been thinking about this for years, baby girl,” I say.
“Me too,” she admits.
“Unable to forget that night,” I say.
“Me too…”
“Unable to forget you…”
“I’ve needed you,” she says as my fingers rub slowly.
I moan at her words. I want her. I want to lay her down and devour her. I want to fuck her until she screams my name and forgets her own.
But not yet.
Not yet.
“Yeah?” I ask grittily, my finger finding her clit and pressing into it. “How bad do you need me?” I ask.
“Bad,” she quivers. “So bad…oh, fuck, Ash. I need you.”
Goddamn…
I tease her a little more, flicking her clit until her knees shake. Just then, her phone buzzes, and I think the timing is perfect. I’ve teased her just long enough to make her unravel a little without fully coming undone.
“You should answer that,” I say.
“It can wait,” she murmurs. “Just don’t stop. Please don’t stop.”
Her words are on the blurring edges of euphoria as she begs me, and I know then that I have her right where I want her.
“Ash…” she moans, grinding herself against my palm.
“I think it’s your nanny again,” I say, and just like that, her eyes pop open and she steps back, emitting a tiny whisper.
“Fuck. Yeah, I gotta go. My nanny needs to leave…”
We drive to her condo in silence, and Natalie’s knees are pinched together. I keep my eyes on the road, and so does she, but once in a while, she glances at me, then back again.
“Are you sure it’s okay?” I ask as we get closer. “You’re not worried about your son seeing his mom with a strange, older man?”
Something flashes across her expression, something I can’t read, before she says, “It’s fine. It’s late enough. He’s in bed by now.”
“So I can walk you to your door?” I say as I put my car in park.
“You can,” she says. “But don’t try anything.”
“I wouldn’t,” I say with a nod.
I walk her to the door and let my fingers graze hers, but that’s it. I am a man of my word.
“Thanks for the ride,” she says.
I nod again and turn to leave.
“Ash?” she calls, and I turn back around. “I mean…Marcus.”
