Nick: The Billionaire Star of NHL

He’s giving me control. Entirely. Unconditionally. There’s no rush, no demand. Just… surrender. From him to me. From both of us to this.
It’s his way of saying, “You’re safe. You matter. You choose.” And what he doesn’t know yet, is that I choose everything with him.
The chaos. The softness. The rebuilding. But I need to feel wanted. Treasured. Respected. Loved.
He pulls me closer, hand gliding slowly up my sides, across my back, over my arms, like he’s memorizing every inch of me all over again.
“God, Sierra…” he whispers against my mouth, his voice trembling with something raw, vulnerable, real. “I missed you so fucking much.”
His breath is shaky, his forehead pressing to mine as if he’s barely holding himself together.
“I thought I lost you. And I couldn’t breathe with that thought, I couldn’t fucking exist without you.”
Tears fill my eyes again, hot and relentless, sliding silently down my cheeks as I hold his face in my hands.
“Nick, I’m so sorry,” I whisper, lips brushing his, voice cracking like glass under too much weight.
“I’m sorry we went through all of that because of me. I let fear take over. I let my insecurities get louder than our love.”
I try to keep going, but the sob catches in my throat and breaks everything open.
“I’m so ashamed,” I manage through my tears. “I thought I wasn’t enough for you and when I saw those fucking messages and pictures, my mind went black. I believed them. Every single one of them. And every day I lived with that guilt, I hated myself a little more.”
He stops moving.
His hands still on my hips, his eyes—those fierce, vulnerable eyes—locked onto mine like he’s staring straight into the very center of my soul. Every fiber of me trembles under that gaze.
“Without you…” I whisper, choking on the weight of the truth. “This life, this world full of money and luxury, it’s everything I thought I wanted. And nothing I actually needed.”
Something in him shatters.
His expression crumbles—jaw clenched tight, brows drawn together—and those beautiful eyes shine wet, glistening with emotion.
“Fuck.” He cups my face with both hands, thumbs brushing my tears like they’re the most precious thing in the world. “I love you so fucking much, Sierra.”
Every word vibrates through me, sinking deep into my bones.
“You’re my whole world. The air I breathe. The only fucking home I’ve ever had.”
His lips hover just inches over mine, his voice shaking with a plea that cuts straight through my chest.
“Don’t leave me again. Don’t doubt me again. Please. You’re it for me. You’re enough—and more. I want everything with you. A future. A family. I want to grow old next to you. I want to fight, make up, laugh, cry—build a life that’s ours.”
He leans forward, pressing a tender kiss to my forehead—lips hovering there—soft and reverent, like a promise wrapped in silence.
And then, in the smallest, most sacred whisper—the one that undoes me completely—he says,
“You are my Serendipity.”
My hands shake as I bury my fingers deep into his hair, resting my forehead against his. Our breaths mingle, souls tangled in a knot tighter than ever.
This isn’t just passion.
This is home.
This is healing.
This is love—brutal and beautiful and endlessly, impossibly hard.
