Knot Their Princess

All right, all right.

It’s not that I don’t want to. I just hate being told what to do.

I toss my napkin on the table and rise to my feet, casually, scanning the room. The ladies’ bathroom is on the right, along the same wall as the clusters of private patios.

Mikhail is so entrenched in his conversation at the table, he won’t notice me. It’s as obvious as the fact that she is not his Omega. If he even believed she was, he’d be as anxious as my brothers and me to follow her. Protect her.

I feel through our pack bond just how much they want to join me, but one look at them has their heads bobbing their consent for my mission.

I move my way to the wall of glass doors on the same side as the bathroom and hurry once I’m out of sight, glimpsing the patio closest to the bathroom and finding it blessedly empty, posting myself along the wall that joins the bathroom to the patio door.

A good five minutes or more pass before I see her emerge, swooping in to take her elbow. She gasps at my touch, but doesn’t pull away as I lead her outside into the freezing cold night air.

Before she even has the chance to shiver, my red tuxedo jacket is off and wrapped around her delicate frame, drawing yet another gasp from her. Then, her nostrils flare, her eyes go impossibly wide behind her mask that matches their blue depths to a tee.

“I recognize you from TV,” she whispers, then clamps her lips shut in the most adorable way.

My responding chuckle doesn’t help matters. Her mask may be tall, though not as tall as mine with its devil horns, but her blush is obvious.

I reach up and unhook my mask, lowering it in my grasp as I peer down at her.

She must be a small thing, having those monster shoes on and still being this short.

Perfect size to toss around in bed.

Shut it.

A look of confusion crosses her face before she takes her mask off as well, peering up at me with question in her eyes, displaying a beautifully flawless face. “What was that? Your scent…”

Now, it’s my turn to be surprised. Usually, my brothers are the only ones who can scent my change. Yet, here’s this Omega able to do the exact same thing as my lifelong packmates.

She’s our fated one.

I can feel my grin is crooked. “I’d like to know your name.”

“I’d like to know why you brought me out here.”

“I’d like to know why you’re posing as Mikhail Petrov’s woman.”

Only the slightest hesitation. “Who says I’m posing?”

One long stride, and I’m right up against her body, my coat wrapped over her bent arms in front of her chest all that stands between us. “I do.” My head dips lower, close enough for my hair to touch her forehead. “We do.” The last comes out as a growl, and this Omega, this beautiful, sensual woman, lets out a whine so desperate, my cock turns to diamond in my trousers.

“Sin,” she breathes.

“It may feel that way, but—”

“My name.” Her voice is a bit stronger now. “Is Sin.”

The chuckle that escapes me as I stand upright, keeping my eyes locked on her, echoes slightly off the overhang above. “Of course, it is. Because you’re just a sinful little morsel, aren’t you?” My grin ticks upward on one side. “I’m Garen.”

She swallows hard, her azure eyes darting around before she licks her lips. “I need to get back to Mikhail.”

“Why?”

“B-because he’s… he’s my…”

“Your what, Sin? Because he isn’t your Alpha. You knew that already, but you certainly know it now that I’m standing here with you. Now that you’ve met Ilya, too.”
