He leans over, pressing his scent gland to my nose.

I take greedy gulps of his sun-warmed grass scent.

My mind becomes hazier.

The three scents are already all around me. I can barely breathe or organize my thoughts.

I don’t want to.

Luca lies down next to me. He tentatively strokes my shoulder and then more boldly strokes up and down my scent gland.

His scent of cool, peppery petals unfurls around me. It settles over me more powerfully than it has before with the possessive weight of soil around a newly planted flower.

My eyes flutter closed.

“Just feel. Smell. Don’t think. You’re nothing but our Omega right now.” Rhett’s command sinks into me. His fingers edge up my sensitive inner thigh. “You ain’t in control. You have no decisions to make. Nothing to fix. Just take what we’re giving. Let yourself go. Just be our Omega for now.”
