Silence. The only noise is the gentle breeze. My hands finally touch bark. It’s a thick trunk, so I decide to hide behind it.
My heart rate is through the roof as I take steadying breaths.
“Who wants to go first?”
I press my fists into my head. “Fuck off, fuck off, fuck off,” I whisper weakly.
There’s a crunch behind me, making me root to the spot.
Another snap.
Without thinking, I take off again. My knees almost give out as I run as fast as I can, away from the closely following footsteps.
I giggle. Out of fear. Anticipation.
The footsteps fade out, and I stop, confused.
A pair of strong arms grab me from behind; a large hand covers my mouth. A muffled squeal escapes my throat.
“Shhhh,” Xander whispers into my ear, dragging me backwards.
My body is on fire as wetness gathers in my thong. I can feel Xander’s rock-hard dick pressing into me. He’s just as intrigued by this as I am, which eases my thoughts just a little.
“Do you remember your safe word?” he whispers, uncovering my mouth just for a second.
“Green.”
“Good,” he murmurs and pushes away from me, the heat of his skin disappearing, making me shudder.
“Run, Little Angel.”
What?
I don’t think—my feet carry me on command—but I don’t get far. Xander launches himself gently onto my back, and we both fall to the ground. His arm cradles me to the side, softening some of the impact. But he doesn’t waste time in straddling me. His naked body glistens in the tiny bit of moonlight peeking through the trees.
He grabs my neck and squeezes. I let out a gurgling sound at the sudden intrusion. Twigs, leaves, and tiny rocks dig into my back and bare legs.
A large body sitting on top of my chest.
“That right there?” His voice is clearer now. Almost animalistic. “Is something you will never do again.”
He moves his knee and settles it in between my thighs, shoving my legs open and then pressing it into my core. I moan out as the delicious pressure awakens my arousal again.
“That was your only chance to run away from me because you are never doing that again,” he growls as he begins to move his knee into me, lightly increasing the pressure of his hand on my neck.
I don't want to run from him anymore. This is exactly where I want to be.
The images playing in my head of Luke on the night I escaped slowly start to fade out, replaced by the glorious vision of Xander and his muscular body on top of me, slowly driving pleasure out of me.
I don’t realise how light my head is until Xander lets go of my neck and cold air scratches at the inside of my throat.
