My Forever Sin

“I don’t know.”

A cloud of smoke clouds my vision as I blow it up towards the ceiling.

The USB has been burning a hole in my pocket. I desperately need to find a laptop, but I don’t know where the fuck I can get one from. The only place I can think of is Heath’s office, but getting in there is not going to be easy.

A click perks my ears up. I turn down my music, and all sound stops for a moment before footsteps resume outside my room.

Jordie.

She’s off somewhere again.

I’m up within seconds, foregoing a T-shirt and leaving my room in just my joggers.

It doesn’t take me long to catch up to her cautious frame meandering through the castle, checking every corner and stopping when she hears a sound. I hide behind an alcove when she pauses and turns, then continue following when she resumes on her way.

She’s following the same route she did the other night she went to snoop around. I’m nothing if not curious to what she’s looking for. I saw her go into the bedroom where I fucked Lacey more times than I want to count and my gut dropped all the way to the depths of Hell. I’m going to have to tell her eventually, but at the moment, I don’t want to think about the things I’ve had to do just to stop me from spiralling. I want to enjoy not having her loathe me with every look.

She takes off down the same corridor, her round ass swaying from side to side, then she takes a right into said bedroom again.

Fuck.

Regret and guilt anchor in my stomach again, yanking me down from the surface. I can’t change it, I can’t take back what I did. I just hope Jordie can forgive me.

When I quietly follow in after her, her head is jerking all around the room like she’s searching for something she’s lost and maybe she has.

I sneak up behind her, her sweet scent wanting to make me dig my teeth into her neck, and I just might. Smells like a chocolate restock might be due for her soon—I only brought her two.

I run my nose up the column of the side of her throat and nibble on her earlobe before whispering, “What are you doing in here?”

She twirls with a startled jump, her fist punching into my chest. She’s on edge.

“Are you following me?” There’s a crease lining in between her brows.

“Always.” I shrug, licking my lips as my eyes rove down her body and snag on the nipples pressing through the thin fabric of her silky top. “So, what are you doing in here?”

She eyes me like she’s considering telling me but then she spins and sits on the bed and I feel like someone’s just stabbed me.

“Come on Kain,” Lacey whines, her hands fumbling with my button and zipper.

“What did you put in this, Lacey?” I slur, my vision blurring stronger by the second.

“Something to get you relaxed,” she purrs, pulling down my boxers.

“Jordie, get off,” I grit, all muscles in my body tightening.

She recoils. “What?”

“N-no, Laceyyy.” My knees buckle, falling over her to the bed.

She grins, but it blends in with the rest of her face. “You want your fucking weed?”

I mumble a barely audible “Yeah”.

“Then you better fuck me.”

“I said get off the bed.” I speak every word slowly, but she makes no attempt to move. “Jordie,” I bark, but before I can think about it, my hands are on her, pulling her up to stand.

She squeaks before her teeth clamp around a small area of my bicep and I near enough moan.
