The rules sound easy enough. He said we’ll plan to sneak away after about two hours. Everyone else should be drunk by then and not paying attention to us.
I’m excited about this, but no matter how fascinating the situation I’ve found myself in is, it doesn’t erase the feelings I have for Avery, or the desire to make her mine.
Briefly, I wonder if this is how Cole feels about me. Not the part about caring deeply for her, but about my desire to possess every part of her.
The Kappa Sig house is vibrating along with the bass of the music and practically bursting at the seams with people by the time we get there. We walked over collectively as a fraternity, but everyone dispersed into their own groups once we got inside.
I was glad for that. I have too many things I need to remember to do or not to do. I need to be on my A-game, and I feel like that will be easier if I’m not surrounded by my brothers who know my usual mannerisms.
There’s no doubt in my mind that Cole is going to be watching me to ensure I’m following his rules. I meander through the crowd, laughing with this group, posing for pictures with another. I’m constantly scanning the room to make sure Cole isn’t around.
Before I know it, I’ve been here for twenty-five minutes already. I make my way to the bathroom so I can send Cole the first picture I owe him. There’s a line—naturally—but I manage to make it in with a minute to spare.
Locking the door behind me, I take my cock out. My eyes trace the words written on it. They feel seared into my skin in the most delicious way. Pulling up my camera, I’m suddenly struck with nerves. What if I accidentally send it to the wrong person? I mean, I could explain away a random dick pic as an accident, but not when I've got Cole’s brand all over it. Hands shaking, I snap the picture quickly paying more attention to the intended recipient than the image itself.
As I exit the bathroom, I accidentally bump into someone.
“Shit, sorry,” I apologize, realizing too late who it is.
“Oh… Hello, Mason.” Serena’s eyes scan my body as a knowing smile spreads across her face. It’s not a surprise Avery told her we’d had sex earlier that day.
Shit. If she’s here, Avery is bound to be. Having to follow all of Cole’s rules while I’m here is already going to be difficult enough. Adding Avery to the situation, knowing I can’t have any contact with her, may prove damn near impossible.
“Serena, hey… Um, is-is Avery with you?”
“Yes, she’s around here somewhere. I’ll let her know you’re looking for her.” Winking, she smiles brightly as a playful delight dances in her eyes.
Not knowing what to say, I just smile and nod.
Fuck.
My phone vibrates in my hand, pulling me from near meltdown mode, and I see a notification from Cole.
Cole:
What the hell do you call that? Are you completely worthless, fucktoy? The rest of your pictures to me better actually resemble a cock.
I quickly take a look at what I sent him. It’s blurry from how badly I was shaking. It looks more like a ghostly apparition with black stripes than a cock.
Does he want me to respond? If we were alone together in our room, I’m sure he would.
Me:
Sorry, Daddy. I was nervous, but I’ll do better next time.
He doesn’t answer me back, and I put my phone away.
Walking through the house, I keep myself on high alert trying to ensure I don’t run into the two people I’m not allowed to acknowledge. Venturing into the next room, I see Gage and some of our other brothers getting ready to play beer pong.
“Hey, Mase!” Gage calls to me. “Come be on my team.”
I swear Cole picked the rules he did tonight just to make my evening as difficult as possible.
“Nah, man. I’m a terrible shot. You’d have better luck on your own.” I’m actually really good at beer pong, but I don’t know how I’d be able to play without drinking.
“I’ve seen you play before, you’re far from awful. Get over here.”
Shit.
