What I didn’t expect, however, was the devious smile on his face. The heat in his stare that has nothing to do with his temper and everything to do with his… appetite.
Holy shit.
This… This is not something I pictured encountering from someone like Cole. In the entire time I’ve known him, I don’t think I’ve ever seen him with the same girl on his arm twice.
Nothing about him screams queer.
I must be misreading his expression. There’s no way whatever I’m thinking is actually going on in his head.
“There is a third option.” He pulls his bottom lip between his teeth as he takes a step closer to me. “I’ll wrestle you for it. If you win, you get half the storage in this room. But if I win…”
I take a step back, not because I’m afraid of him. Not because his request is fucking off the wall—even though it is. But there’s not one part of me that thinks wrestling is where he intends things to stop between us.
I need space from him because I’m struck with a sudden crazed desire and temptation I’ve never had toward another guy before. I see nothing wrong with homosexuality or queerness, but it’s not something I’ve ever felt within myself before.
Maybe you just haven’t met the right person yet.
That thought causes me even more internal strife than I had when I was struggling not to let his bullying get to me. Not because I don’t welcome the feeling, but even if I don’t have a problem with it, it’s new. It’s unexpected. I’d need time to wrap my head around it.
“I…” Swallowing my nerves, even I don’t know what my answer is going to be.
Out of nowhere, I picture myself on my knees. Cole above me, fully nude, stroking his cock. My dick twitches and my knees weaken, and I swear to God I think my body’s about to lower itself to the ground before him.
“Everything okay in here, Warrington, Haywood?”
Tearing my eyes from Cole’s intense gaze, I turn toward Cam, one of the executive board members of the frat. He’s standing in the doorway with a clipboard in his hands, looking between us as though he’s ready to break up a fight.
“Uh, y-yes. Great. We were just deciding who gets which desk and such.” I back away from Cole and grab my laptop once more, placing it on the desk I tried claiming a moment ago.
Cam remains in the doorway as Cole flops back down onto the sofa. He picks up a magazine from the side table and begins flipping through the pages.
“Let me know if you need anything, Haywood.” Cam leaves, and my eyes shoot to Cole once again, unsure where to go from here.
He doesn’t look at me. I don’t know if I want him to or not. Jumping into a—whatever the hell Cole had in mind—of any kind on the first day of school isn’t in my plans. Especially not with one of my fraternity brothers.
That type of pairing has never been in my plans. But I can’t deny the flash of Cole I had a minute ago aroused me more than I ever thought would have been possible.
No, whatever that was needs to stay wherever it went when Cam interrupted us. Not only would that create a very messy scenario here in the frat house, but I’m entirely certain Cole was only acting that way to fuck with me. To make me do or say something he could use against me to bend me to his will.
Or have me ostracized for invading his space.
I won’t allow him to do that. I’ll stand firm, toe to toe with Cole Warrington, forbidding him to walk all over me if it’s the last thing I do.
Chapter One
Two Weeks Later
Cole
I’m going to fuck Mason Haywood.
When I get this feeling, the unmistakable need and desire to claim something—or someone—as mine, nothing can stop me from obtaining it.
No matter the cost, I’ll do whatever it takes to get this small-town, rule-following, yes ma'am, no ma'am mama's boy begging for my cock while he’s kneeling at my feet.
My sexuality is… open. Always has been, always will be. While I’ve only publicly sought women out on campus, there have been quite the number of secret trysts with some of my male co-eds as well.
I take whatever I see that pleases me.
