“Then I don’t understand.”

“They’re less likely to throw you out if you feed them first. Their stomachs come first, and the only time they get decent food is when you bring it to the club.”

Second-guessing herself, Natalia surveyed her kitchen. The restaurant had been busy that day, and the next food delivery wouldn’t arrive until Sunday. What could she make that was inexpensive and wouldn’t deplete the restaurant’s supplies?

A slow grin spread across her face. “How do the guys feel about pizza?”

After fastening the only two buttons on the black-and-pink blouse she had chosen, Natalia stepped back to study herself in the mirror hanging on her closet door. The sheer peplum top hugged her breasts before flaring beneath them, hinting at her voluptuous curves without revealing too much because of the black camisole she wore underneath. The fitted sleeves flowed delicately from her shoulders to her wrists. Paired with black slacks and sleek boots, the outfit made her look as though she were going on a date rather than attending a motorcycle club party.

She closed the closet before she could change her mind and choose something else. Then she snatched up her keys and hurried out of the house.

The van was filled with the scent of the pizzas she’d made and loaded inside before making the quick stop at home to change.

During the entire drive to The Last Riders’, she wanted to turn around. Only the memory of Marco’s miserable expression as he worked kept her foot on the accelerator. Once she managed to get Marco and Lucia back together, she vowed never to involve herself in her employees’ private lives again.

Surely, Lucia would come to her senses once she saw how The Last Riders behaved with other women. What sane woman would willingly—

Finding a parking space wasn’t easy, but she finally managed to locate one along the side of the building. After getting out of the van, she opened the side door and removed two insulated carriers filled with pizzas.

As she carried them toward the front of the building, she saw the guard’s gaze drop from her breasts to the bags.

“What’s in the bags?”

“Pizzas. There are two more carriers in my van. If you grab them for me, you can pick one pizza for yourself.”

The guard grinned. “Is the van locked?” Natalia handed him the keys.

“Wait here. I don’t want any of those fuckers seeing them before I get first dibs.”

“I won’t move.” She smiled. “What’s your name?”

“Burn.”

“Thanks, Burn.”

He returned quickly, carrying the remaining pizzas.

“You have any with pineapple?”

“I actually do.”

Each insulated carrier had a number printed on the side so the orders wouldn’t get screwed up. Finding the one she needed, Natalia opened it and handed Burn the box. “There you go.”

“Thanks. Those fuckers wouldn’t appreciate it, anyway. They’d just pick off the pineapple. I’m surprised you made one.”

“Arden likes pineapple on hers, too.”

Burn placed the pizza she had given him on the roof of a nearby car then returned to hold the door open for her.

“She works for you. She can get you to make her a pizza whenever she wants one,” he said, unashamed of taking it without offering Arden a slice.

“That’s true.” Natalia laughed as she entered the noisy clubhouse.

The place was packed. Each time she came at night, it seemed busier than the last. Couples crowded together, dancing in every available space between the tables and booths while music blared from speakers mounted on the walls.

As she and Burn carried the pizzas to the bar, Natalia searched the room for Lucia. The last thing she expected was to find her playing pool with two men. Was one of them Jesus? She was determined to find out.

When they reached the bar, Arden took the bags from Natalia while Burn set his down then began forcing his way back toward the door.
