“You know,” she says, looking up at both of us, “we need to be here for Jace. But we don’t have to put up with bullshit while we wait.”
“Doll Baby, we’re not hiding,” Damon says again.
“I’m not talking about hiding,” she replies, slipping out from under his arm. “I just think we should go somewhere a little more quiet until it’s time to show our faces.”
She weaves through the crowd with purpose, leading us past the beer stands and betting tables, down the back hallway near the locker rooms. We get a few more stares, but fewer voices reach us back here.
We’ve just passed the locker room door when Carson steps out the door and looks immediately relieved when he sees DK. “Dude, thank God you’re here. Can you come talk to Jace? He’s bugging out a little.”
“Like Mateo bugging out?” Ari asks, remembering that disaster.
“Nah, nothing like that. Just needs some encouragement.” Carson glances at Ari and grimaces. “But, uh, he’d probably feel better if it was just you. Not the Baroness. Sorry.”
“It’s fine,” Ari says, wrinkling her nose. She clearly has no interest in going back into a locker room full of half-naked, anxious fighters.
“We’ll wait,” I say, stepping closer to her.
Damon disappears inside with Carson. The hallway grows quieter, but the stares from people walking past don’t stop. Ari glances around, then keeps going down the hall, trying a few doors until one finally opens.
It’s an office–tidy, organized, and clearly belonging to Mama B. Photos of Verity and the terrifying redheaded matriarch herself hang on the wall. An old Screw Year’s Eve poster is tacked up beside a large calendar.
“I don’t think we should be in here,” I mutter, feeling very out of place.
“It’ll just be for a few minutes,” Ari says, stepping inside anyway. “No one will know.”
Shutting the door behind us, I watch her poke around the room, running her fingers along the edge of the desk, then pick up a container of heavy-duty zip ties sitting on a shelf. She turns one over in her hands, a mischievous little smile playing on her lips.
“We could kill some time doing something fun,” she says lightly, holding up a plastic strip and cinching it with a sharp zip.
My cock twitches instantly, and I warn, “Hex.”
She steps closer, eyes sparkling with challenge. “What? You don’t trust me?”
“I trust you,” I say, swallowing thickly. “I don’t trust myself.”
“But what if something else is keeping us safe?” She holds up the zip tie again, letting it dangle. “No hands. No way for you to take over. You’d be at my mercy.”
Fuck.
The idea sends a rush of heat straight to my dick. I’m already getting hard just thinking about it.
“We can’t have sex here,” I rasp.
Ari’s smile turns wicked. “Maybe we don’t have sex. Maybe I just blow you.”
“This is Mama B’s office. If she caught us, she’d cut my balls off and hang them over the ring.”
“Then we better be fast,” she whispers, backing me up to the desk.
Before I can talk myself out of it, she spins me around, pulls my wrists behind my back, and secures them with the tie. The hard plastic bites into my skin–not painful, but firm. Unyielding. A sharp thrill shoots through me. I test the restraint instinctively. No give.
Ari turns me back around, pushes me into the desk chair, and drops to her knees. I almost come when she looks up at me with those wide, hungry eyes.
My heart hammers as she tugs my jeans down just enough to free my cock. I’m already rock hard, throbbing in the cool air of the office. She wraps her hand around the base and leans in, pressing a soft, teasing kiss to the head before swirling her tongue around it.
“Fuck, your mouth,” I groan, hips jerking forward. “It always feels so good.”
She takes me deeper, warm and wet, her tongue working the underside as she sucks. With my hands tied behind my back, I have zero control. I can’t thread my fingers through her hair. I can’t guide her pace. I can only sit there and take what she gives me.
