The Boyfriend Bet

“I mean, if you think you can keep your dick out of every other woman’s pants,” I tease him, trying to ignore the way my heart is racing.

“I’m not looking at any other woman.” He goes silent for a moment. “I know you might think I’m playing games, but I’m not the sort of guy who screws around. I might not be looking for forever, but I don’t fuck more than one woman at a time.”

“From what I know, you don’t fuck one woman for longer than a week either.”

“I guess I can always make an exception,” he says as he pulls me on top of him. “And right now, I’d like to make a long, hard exception.”

“I’m not opposed to that,” I say as I slide down onto his cock.

“Why don’t you take the morning off work?” he says. “I’ve got some things I want to show you.”

“Oh, yeah? And what are they?”

“Telling you won’t make it as fun.”

“Okay then, Mr. Selleck. I might get in trouble with my boss, but I’ll be a naughty girl for once.” I push him back on the bed. “Take me. I’m yours for the morning.”

“Now, those are the words I love to hear.” He chuckles.

Before I know what he’s doing, he grabs my hands and pulls me into him. Then he moves his hands to my hips. “We’re going to try something different this time, and then I want to show you something special, if you will allow me to. I know I keep saying that, but it’s important.”

“What is it?”

“You’ll see.”

“Okay, you can get out of the car now.” Brett looks at me with an expectant expression, and I slowly climb out.

I look around and stare at the empty building in front of me. “What’s going on?” I ask as he walks over to me.

“You want to have a look inside?”

“Sure.” I look back at the building. It looks like it used to be a bank.

I hang back as Brett walks ahead of me. He lifts up a brick, takes out a long old-fashioned key, and opens the door.

“Come on. Let’s have a look inside.”

“Are you sure we can be here?” I ask as I follow him in.

“I’m sure,” he says.

The second I step inside, I start coughing as the dust goes up my nose. The building is empty, save for some pieces of wood and a few old tables.

“Go on, have a look,” Brett says.

I wander around the edges of the room, hoping not to see any mice. Brett strides ahead of me and pulls up one of the old blinds, and sun filters through the windows.

“Oh wow, it’s beautiful,” I say, taking in the exposed brick and the hardwood floors that have seen better days but are still in good shape. “This is cool. What is this?”

“Come. Follow me,” he says.

We walk toward the back, and he opens a set of French doors and steps outside. There’s a large garden—overgrown now, but I can tell it was beautiful once.

“This is a really unique place. Are you planning on living here?” I ask, wondering if he’d really give up his epic bachelor pad for this dusty old building.

“No.” He shakes his head. “I’m thinking of buying it for the veterans’ home. For the nonprofit.” He looks at me, waiting for my reaction.
