Every step I took was slow and steady, hoping I’d create a moment of anticipation. He was sitting with his legs wide open, slouched in the chair, but as soon as I sashayed in front of him, he straightened.
“But I wasn’t sneaking in and you’re not a bad man.” I was dramatic in straddling his legs, standing over him as I untied the sash.
He lifted his glass to his lips, chuckling as he did. “Don’t fool yourself.”
With the silk robe pushed open, I eased onto his knees, pressing my hands on both thighs and leaning over. “Does that mean you believe me to be a fool?”
At least my sassy words brought a smirk to his face. He said nothing in affirmation or denial before gulping a swallow of liquid. Even before the glass was free of his lips, I wrapped my fingers around the dense crystal, pulling it away.
He didn’t try to stop me, his eyes becoming hooded as he watched me take a sip. When I was finished, I put the glass on the table, turning my full concentration to him.
“Well?” I pushed while raking my nail from one side of his angular jaw to the other. He had several days of stubble covering his cheeks, which of course added to how sexy he was.
“I think you’re the most intelligent and beautiful woman I’ve ever met.”
“Nice save.” I followed the trail of my finger with my eyes while deliberately moving the tip to his lips. “However, you didn’t answer the question.” After tracing his soft, full mouth, I dragged it across the seam, purring instead of laughing when he pulled half my finger into his mouth.
He eased one hand to my side, rubbing my waist through the negligee he’d purchased and I’d only worn for the first time tonight. I’d wanted to feel pretty after everything, perhaps even feeling close to him in his absence. I could tell by his dark expression the meeting he’d had with his father had been trying.
Who was I to be able to provide him with any noticeable comfort?
As he sucked on my finger, he also dragged me closer until I was sitting on the thick bulge between his legs. I couldn’t lie and say it wasn’t satisfying to know I could easily arouse such a powerful man.
When I popped my finger free, he took a deep breath. “No one will ever call you a fool and remain alive.”
I rolled the same finger down his neck to where he’d unbuttoned his shirt, taking my time moving to the buttons that remained fastened. “You can’t kill everyone who defies or angers you.” His body tensed as soon as I started to unbutton the others.
“Bet me.” He swept his arms over my shoulders, forcing my robe down my arms. I moved my hand away long enough to allow the silky material to fall to the floor. I was already wet, undoubtedly staining his trousers, but if he cared, he wasn’t interested in showing it.
“Not a bet I’m willing to take.” I lowered my head, nipping his earlobe while he tugged at my negligee until he managed to slide one hand underneath.
“Smart girl.” His voice dripped of innuendoes and promises, all sensual in nature. His even breathing was ragged while his thick cock pulsed between my legs.
I was already on fire, my core throbbing just as much. I slipped my tongue into the shell of his ear, breathing softly and savoring the way his body shuddered from my testament to our deep yearning.
And he thought he was in full control of me. Not a chance.
After dragging my tongue along his jaw to his lips, I bit his bottom one for a few seconds before tossing my hair across his chest and pulling back.
As soon as I jerked his shirt away, exposing his chest, I murmured my own raging desire with soft mewls. At least I knew I could still amuse him, the moonlight reflecting the way his upper lip curled at the edges.
“You’re playing with fire,” he said softly, so much so I had to strain to hear him.
“What are you going to do about it?”
“Be very careful.”
“So you’ve already warned me.”
I shifted back and forth on his lap, creating friction that left me even more breathless. His eyelids were half closed, every muscle relaxing enough he leaned back against the plushness of the chair while I kneaded his chest.
But I should have known my control would be short-lived when he rolled one spaghetti strap over my shoulder then the other, exposing both breasts.
A shiver tore through me, not only from the chill in the air but also from my own anticipation of what he would do. I didn’t need to wait long. He cupped my face with his thumb pressed into my skin, pulling me down until our lips were almost touching.
“What you do to me, my sweet angel.” He had a way of creating fireworks both with his words and the way he captured my mouth. I’d been right in that we both needed the closeness, the feeling of being able to let go around the other. Adding to our bond and love for each other.
Ageless.
