I lean in closer, grinding my erection against his thigh.
“And I will start with the blondes, just for you.”
“The only thing you are going to fuck tonight is my patience.”
His hands move like lightning, sliding under my buttocks to hook and jerk me violently toward him.
“And you are very close to succeeding.”
He keeps me impaled against his frame.
“Tell me why you are angry.”
“Because I hate you... I fucking... hate you, Dorian.”
With a fluid, brutal motion, he lifts himself off the table, taking my entire weight with him. One hand claws at the nape of my neck, the other keeps me pressed to his pelvis, forcing me to feel every hard line of his body pressing into mine. I bite my lip until I taste blood, my gaze locked on his, clouded by the urge to destroy him.
“You were already angry before Elijah spoke.”
I grit my teeth.
“What the hell are you talk—”
His hand slides under my shirt, the cold skin of his fingers clashing with the heat of my back. He traces up my spine.
“I saw you from outside, at Gunter’s,” he continues, his fingers lingering, mapping the tension in my muscles. “I saw how you held yourself back... how annoyed you were.”
A bitter, mocking laugh slips through my teeth.
“You think you know me? You think you know anything?”
I push against his arms to pull away, to break from that searing contact, but Dorian rises with me.
“Perhaps the scent of some woman has clouded your mind.”
He doesn’t even blink. He stares me down, ignoring my venom. “Did Julian annoy you?”
“Let me go,” I snarl, struggling to break free.
“Mm? Tell me.”
Without warning, he leans down. I feel the heat of his breath a second before his teeth sink ferociously into my throat.
“You fucking—”
He slams me against the wall with a sharp blow that steals my breath. He towers over me, his face a hair’s breadth from mine, his eyes promising blood.
“Tell me,” he rasp against my mouth, “and I will rip his spine out while he drinks his goddamn tea.”
What did he just say?
“What the fuck is it you do not understand, Dorian?”
I shove him, but my hands only end up clawing at his shoulders. He stiffens, lifting his gaze to mine, a flash of confusion fracturing his face.
“You are not to touch anyone.” My voice trembles from the pressure in my chest.
“Damn it—”
