“Don’t pick no school because they calling the most.”
“I know.”
“Pick where you can see yourself when basketball ain’t involved too.”
He nodded.
“Seton Hall still talking?”
“Yeah.”
“Good. Take your time.”
“I got time.”
“Not as much as you think.”
He leaned back against the bleachers.
“You coming with me when I visit?”
I looked at him.
Like that was even a fucking question.
“Every one you want me at.”
Henry nodded.
“Aight.”
“Aight.”
We sat there another minute before I stood up.
“Come on.”
He looked up. “Where we going?”
“Home.”
“Nah. Run it back.”
I laughed. “Run what back?”
“Game was close.”
“I beat you.”
“By two.”
“A win is a win.”
“You scared.”
I stopped.
