Levin choked on his drink.

We all started laughing, but Nesha stopped first.

Her eyes narrowed on me.

She leaned closer.

My stomach dropped.

Then back to me.

I picked up my drink.

Thankfully, she was drunk enough to get distracted when Tyler said something in her ear.

Eventually, we grabbed our coats and started heading toward the exit.

Nesha suddenly stopped.

“Wait. I’ma go to the bathroom before we leave.”
