Henry almost spit his juice out.
He started laughing. “Dad, for real?”
“I’m asking.”
“Why?”

“That’s exactly why I’m not trying to talk to you about that.”
“I ain’t asking for a fucking play-by-play. Do you?”
He looked at me for a second before finally nodding.
“Yeah.”

“Wrapping it up?” he finished. “Of course.”

I chuckled. “Nigga, what’s weird about it?”
