I handed it to her.

She took a sip and made a face.

She laughed and handed it back.

I caught her around the waist before she could walk away.

“Where you going?”

“To check on Serenity.”

“She good.”

“You don’t know that.”

She looked at me. “What that mean?”

I looked her up and down.

She immediately knew.

I laughed. “I ain’t even say nothing.”

“Come upstairs with me.”

She laughed and pushed me off.

“Get the fuck away from me.”

“Nah, come here.”

I grabbed her hand before she could get away and pulled her ass right back into me.
