I laughed.

“I just wanted to see everybody. I’m having the baby soon anyway, then I’ll be back.”

“Back where?”

I pointed around us.

“Here.”

Levin scoffed.

“Not till your doctor clear your ass.”

“I know.”

“I won’t have you bleeding out on my fucking floor trying to climb a pole two weeks after having a baby.”

I laughed.

“Nobody said two weeks.”

“With you? Gotta make sure.”

I opened my mouth to say something back.

Then I saw somebody coming up behind him.

Xavier.

My entire face changed before I could stop it.

And judging by the way his did?

That nigga looked like he had seen a fucking ghost.

Good.

“Hey, Xavier.”

His eyes flicked down to my stomach.

Then right back to my face.
