Marco’s fingers bite into my elbow as he marches me toward the black sedan. My deranged foster brother has his gun pointed at me. “Move.”

“If I get in that car with you...” I glance around, looking for Rook or Jasper or any of the security team. Or anyone at all. If I have a chance to get away from Marco, I’m going to take it. “What are you planning to do with me?”

“Shut the fuck up and do as I said.”

“No.” He’ll have to drag me. Because he is either going to kill me, or he’s going to keep me somewhere no one will ever find me. And he’ll visit me... like he used to. Rape me. Only there won’t be an escape like last time.

He sneers. “Our time together was special, wasn’t it? I reminisce about it often.”

“I would rather be dead than let you touch me again.” My skin is crawling under his grip. I can hardly keep from vomiting. When I finally got out of that house, I swore he would never lay a finger on me again. I swore that if he did, I would remove every appendage he touched me with.

“I’ve been patient. Waited for the right time... Years, Jailbait. Now it’s time you come back where you belong. To me.”

“Never.” I try to yank my arm free. If I get the chance I’m going to run.

His hand tightens painfully. “Don’t get any bright ideas. I will kill your friends.”

“I don’t have any friends.” I grit my teeth. Bronx, Kodiak, and Golden are more than that. Riot is more than that... even when I want him to mean nothing. Even when he shouldn’t.

“You don’t think I realize that you’re fucking the whole boy band,” he snaps, dragging me when I try to dig my feet in. “You forget, I know you’re a needy little bitch. Do you really think I’ll believe you spent weeks on a tour bus with four men and didn’t let them defile you?”

“They’re no boy band.” I try to shove him away, but he’s too strong. Yes, I wanted all of them. What happened between us... it was on my terms. And if it had gone further, I would still not be ashamed because I chose it. That’s something Marco doesn’t understand. He always took what I wasn’t willing to give. I shove again, gaining a little space so that I can look him in the face. “I will cut your cock off before I ever let you touch me again.”

“Don’t worry, Jailbait. I liked it better when you fought me. I’m looking forward to experiencing you again.”

“Fuck you.”

“That’s the plan. Now get in the car.” He tries to open the trunk so he can shove me inside.

“Help!” I scream as I fight him with everything I have. If he gets me into that confined area, I will never escape him. I can’t let that happen.

My phone rings.

For a split-second Marco is distracted by the intrusive sound and I use it to my advantage. I shove my knee up into his balls, and I scream again.

“You. Cunt.” He grunts as he bends forward at the waist. His grasp on me loosens.

This is my shot. I fight him harder.

He spins the gun in his hand and smacks me across the face with the grip. Excruciating pain erupts. My vision turns shadowy. My knees wobble.

“There’s that fight I like so much.” He grabs my throat with his empty hand and cuts off my air supply. His other hand reaches behind him and when it joins the first around my neck the gun is gone. He squeezes harder as I burn through what little air I have.

Black spots dance at the edges of my vision. I claw at his hands with my nails. I can’t black out. I can’t... One of my nails tear clean off.

“Too bad we don’t have the time.” He presses into me and his hot breath washes across my face. I can feel him against me as he forces my thighs apart with his knee. He’s hard.

No! My heart starts to race. Adrenaline begins to make everything sharper. It pulls my world into vivid focus. If I don’t get oxygen I am going to die. Time slows down. I can hear my blood pulsing. I’m alone in this garage. No one can hear me. No one can see us. No one is coming to save me.

Jasper thinks I’ve left. If he hasn’t told the others already, he will. And Riot isn’t coming to find me. After all that he’s said and done since I told him what happened to our baby... he still chose her. My lungs scream to breathe. My body fights to survive. I struggle against Marco with everything that I have.

“You’re going to make me do this, aren’t you? You’re going to make me kill you, you stupid little bitch.” Marco puts his face right in mine. The whites of his eyes disappear. Spittle wets my lips and cheek. “Do you know what I’m going to do if you die? If you stop me from being able to keep you the way I want. I’ll kill all four of them. Who should I start with, Jailbait? That boy you used to hang out with. Or perhaps the ginger who got in my way the other night.”

“No,” I whisper, my voice wavering. Wetness slides down my cheek. I’ve already witnessed Marco kill a woman I only knew for a week, and my client. I can’t allow my safety to be the reason he goes after Riot, Bronx, Kodiak, or Golden.
