“How?”

“I’m sure you’ll think of something.”

Dante rises.

“Careful what you ask for.”

His mouth is wet from me. He steps close enough that our lips nearly meet. I remember asking him to kiss me. I remember his refusal.

“Still haven’t earned it?” I whisper.

Dante’s breathing changes.

“No.”

“Liar.”

“I want your first kiss with me to happen without an audience.”

Behind me, Callum growls. Dante corrects himself.

“Without these two glaring at me like they want to wear my skin.”

Rhys lifts an eyebrow behind his mask. I touch Dante’s mouth with my thumb. He takes the tip between his lips and sucks. The sight sends heat tearing through me. Callum’s hand moves down my stomach. Possessive. Reminding. I smile at Dante.

“With pleasure.”

He kneels again.

DANTE

I could make Sloane come in under a minute. Her body is already primed from Rhys’s control and Callum’s chapel performance. Her thighs shake before I touch her. But I want to hear her laugh again. I drag my tongue along the inside of her thigh. She squirms.

“Dante.”

“Yes, angel?”

“You know where everything is.”

“I get lost easily.”

“You designed this part of the maze.”

“Yet here I am, confused.”

Rhys exhales through his nose. Callum’s fingers tighten against her hip. Sloane tries to push my head closer. I avoid her.

“Brat.”

“Devil.”

“Compliments won’t help.”

Rhys moves behind her opposite side and wraps his hand around her throat.
