Spencer
Rush’s hands roam my body, igniting a fire in my lower belly. Desire swims in his eyes, and I tremble in the midst of it. Every fiber of my being begs for his attention.
His tongue sweeps over mine as he pulls me impossibly closer to his body. We’re pressed together so much, so; I think his heart beats like mine. The arithmetic thrum pulsing through our bodies pushes us over the edge.
I fist his hair, bringing him with me as I fall back onto the bed. My legs encase him, hitching on his hips. Rush grinds into me, and I soak my panties with a need to have him.
His lips give and take, like the waves in the ocean. Pulling and pushing, driving our need into a frenzy. I yank at his shirt, breaking our connection as it’s jerked over his head.
“Please…” my plead no more than a murmur.
Rush gazes into my eyes, and my breath hitches. “Tell me what you want, Spencer.”
“I-I’m afraid.” I stumble over my words as my chest tightens—fear gripping me as I face my most giant demon.
He holds himself up by his elbows, tilting his head as he stares deep into my eyes. I watch as a recognition reflects in his, and I realize why we’ve found one another.
His heart knows my mine and the pain I carry.
“Tell me…” his words are a whisper, speaking to my soul.
My lashes flutter against my cheeks as I close my eyes, unable to face him. “I’m afraid of losing you.”
“Never.” His mouth smashes into mine, only letting up long enough to strip my clothes from me.
Rush gathers the hem of my dress in his hands, dragging up my body. I raise off the bed, lifting my arms. Once it’s past my head, I fall back again. He drops my dress to the floor, turning his attention back to me.
He gasps, leaning over to trail his fingers from the cup of my black lace bra to the top of my matching panties. Chills raced over my body, begging Rush to drive us to the finish line.
“You are the most desirable woman I have ever laid my eyes on.” His fingers press between my legs, soaking them through the material. An ache grows, pooling with a hunger for Rush.
Rush hooks the sides, working them inch by inch over my thighs and down my legs. He clutches them in his hand and holding them to his mouth. Instead of tossing them to the side, he tucks them into his pocket.
I reach between us, yanking the button of his pants open. All it takes is one good tug and the zipper parts. I slip my hands into the waist, running them back and over his ass as I push his underwear and pants from him.
My feet work them down his thighs, and he reaches back, tugging them from his ankles. He bites his bottom lip, tapping the center of my bra. When his eyes lock with mine, he hooks it, snapping it open.
The material slides from my breasts, leaving me bare to his perusal of my body. I lay my hand over my eyes, hiding as much of myself from him. Rush’s feather-like touch sends tingles over my entire body as he lightly pulls my hand down.
“Never again will you hide from me. I am but a mere man, basking in your strength and beauty. As crazy as some might think it is, I have fallen for you, Spencer. I am lost in your eyes, begging for mercy and refuge in your heart.” His mouth is on mine as he slides deep within me, taking me, and marking me as his forever.
Rush rocks into me, meeting my thrust and sending me spiraling. He kisses my body, giving reverence to it. When he brushes them against my lips, I buck from the bed, pushing my breasts against his chest.
His groans are like an anthem, loving me with my every mewl and moan. Our bodies meet as one, giving and taking what we each need from the other, with no thoughts of leaving before we have given ourselves completely.
Rush pushes us higher with every drive of his hips. Our bodies propelling us over the edge, as we meet, spilling over one another. Finding our hearts true north and happy to be home.
He falls to my side, tugging me to his as we come to rest in each other’s arms. We struggle to slow our breathing, our hearts raging and beating as one. I never want to leave this moment or this place.
I want to remain in his realm, with his love filling me up. I need to be his, loving him forever.
“I think I might be in trouble.” His gruff voice tickles my ear when his breath sweeps past it, and I snicker.
“Why’s that?”
His arms clutch me, warming me from within. “I ain’t worth a damn thing now.”
