Claim him forever.

Hawk clamped down on the crook of Jasper’s shoulder, sinking his fangs into Jasper’s flesh. He froze as his orgasm tore through him and he pulsed his cum inside Jasper’s body, groaning through his glorious release. A wet warmth splashed across his stomach followed by spasms around his cock, Jasper’s climax milking even more seed from Hawk’s dick.

Instead of softening, Hawk’s prick hardened again, swelling until Jasper’s rim became tighter, hotter around him, keeping them connected. Jasper let out a small gasp and he gripped Hawk’s biceps.

The knot.

Hawk had never knotted a partner before, and he’d always assumed he never would. Not that he’d paid much attention since it didn’t concern him, but he’d understood the knot’s only purpose being one of procreation. Perhaps he’d misunderstood. Perhaps it happened between fated couples whether they were gay or straight.

Hawk peppered Jasper’s forehead, face and jaw with lazy kisses, allowing the bliss of being joined by the knot to carry them through the afterglow. Sweat had trailed down the side of his face, despite the chill in the air. Jasper had been hot enough for them both, and they’d certainly built up plenty of steam together.

Jasper’s eyes had drifted closed and he’d relaxed in Hawk’s embrace, a faint smile decorating his lips. Whatever mania had driven him—then subsequently infected Hawk—seemed to have passed. His omega appeared to be at peace.

“Mmm.” Jasper’s lids fluttered open. “I love this. I didn’t think you’d knot me, but it’s cool that you did.” He petted Hawk’s hair. “We’re like one person.”

Hawk had lowered Jasper’s body onto the surface of the sleeping bag again but continued to hold his omega wrapped in his arms. “Yes, you and I together, always.” Hawk bent down to seal his mouth over Jasper’s, tasting his sweet essence, dipping his tongue between Jasper’s lips again and again, the moment suspended in time until his receding knot brought him back to the present.

Right as Hawk was about to ask Jasper if he was in any pain, if maybe he’d been too rough on him, Jasper spoke up.

“So, you ready for another round?”

Chapter Eight

Wow.

Jasper stared up at Hawk, only vaguely aware of how sore his ass was and how tired his legs were from holding them wrapped around Hawk’s waist.

While we fucked like wolves. He grinned. “Well? Do you?”

He might walk funny for a few days, but it would be worth it.

Hawk ran a thumb over his cheek, a wrinkle forming on his brow. “You’ve been through so much…”

“I’m okay, really. It stung at first, sort of burned. But then there was this relief, like you’d iced a sunburn when you plowed into my ass. I can’t believe I came without you touching me.”

Hawk appeared as if he was holding in a laugh. His lips were held tightly together, and a flush had risen to his face, but his eyes danced with mirth. He let out a small cough and seemed to compose himself before he spoke.

“I’m thankful I wasn’t too rough with you, that your first time wasn’t a disaster, but I meant what you’ve been through overall.” Hawk touched the tip of his finger to Jasper’s cheek again. “There’s still a bit of the scrape visible from when you fell, the poultice I made for us not completely clearing the evidence of only one of the many wrongs done to you.”

“Oh no…”

Hawk nodded. “I know, don’t worry. We’ll bring those monsters to justice.”

“That’s not what…”

Jasper gave himself a mental shake. Here Hawk was, being noble and thinking of the big picture, and all Jasper could be bothered with was how Hawk had gone soft and was slipping from his body.

“Er… yes. We’ll make them pay.” Jasper batted his eyelashes.

Hawk let out a sigh and gave him a lopsided smile. “I understand. I’m not handling this very well, am I?”

Jasper drew his eyebrows together in confusion. Hawk was the one with his priorities in order and he was the one only thinking of his dick.

“No, it’s me that’s screwing up, Hawk. You’re the best Alpha ever.”

Hawk chuckled then placed gentle kisses on his mouth and around his lips. “Am I? I hope so. I want nothing but the best for you.” Hawk traced a finger along Jasper’s neck then down to the new claim bite as he held his gaze. “What I’d envisioned for your first time, for when I claimed you, didn’t exactly happen the way I’d thought it would.”

“You’re kidding, right?” Jasper threw his arms around Hawk’s neck. “I’ve never been so happy, I swear. And trust me, you gave me exactly what I needed for my first time.”
