“Your sister got out of it,” I remind her, then smirk, “In fact, my woman,” I lift up my left arm, but instead of showcasing the tattoo she’s seen, I show her my wedding ring that only Crusher knows about as I scratch my chin, “Even gave your sister a hundred thousand, helping her leave town.”
Her face reddens as her eyes zero in on my wedding ring, and she slams her palms against the door and screams, “I’m going to kill her, you were always mine, not hers, I made sure you were mine!”
“What the fuck are you doing, you stupid woman!” the Charger snaps, “He has a fucking lighter in his hand!”
El scoffs, “He won’t do fuck all, the man doesn’t have it in him, he has the need to save me all because mommy was a drug addict and a whore!”
Well, the bitch is done hiding who she really is, huh?
I smirk coldly and state, “Actually, El, where my woman and my unborn child are concerned, I’m capable of everything.”
“You said you didn't want kids!” she shouts, “You said you were getting the snip!”
“Fuck,” I hear Killer snap, realizing how fucked up he and Mom made me. I ignore him and keep eye contact with El as I admit, “With the right woman, I’d have however many kids she wants, just like I refuse to wrap up with her.”
“I’m going to fucking kill her!” she repeats with a scream, giving me what I need to burn the guilt, and I mutter, “Over my dead body,” as I light the lighter then throw it against the trailer, and instantly it lights up in flames, and the Charger roars as he tries to bang through the door while El smacks her hand against it, crying in fear.
I don’t look away from her, even as she catches on fire, her screams getting louder. I watch as she and the Charger both burn to death, probably the most horrific death someone can go through. It’s not until sirens echo that I finally look away from the trailer lit up in flames and walk away with my brothers at my back.
“I’m going to be a grandpa again?” I hear Killer choke, but I just roll my eyes as Crusher scoffs and walks ahead of me.
While he’ll never stop Kayden from knowing his grandfather, he’ll never have that father-son relationship with the man, and I don’t fucking blame him.
He pushed him aside and made him feel unwanted.
The man is a jackass, but his wife is nice, so I’ll play nice for her and her son, my brother…

I pull the sheets off my wife’s naked body two hours later as I eye her sleeping form, my body relaxing knowing one evil is now gone, one evil won’t hurt her or our child. I climb in bed my body mostly dried, over hers, but stop halfway and place a soft kiss against her stomach and I whisper, “Daddy loves you,” before covering my girl with my body and without a second thought, I blindly find her entrance and thrust my cock deep inside her causing her to gasp as she wakes.
I smile and press my lips against hers. She melts as she wraps her legs around my waist as I begin to thrust my hips slowly, making love to my wife, murmuring how much I love her against her juicy lips. I continue on about how I’m going to always protect her and our children.
El is dead, so, as the saying goes, one down, two to go…
Chapter 24
Blaze – A Week Later
“So, revenue is up with Carnage Grub, Crash is still keeping up with the books. We’ve had to hire another two waitresses,” Crusher explains as he reads off Crash’s notes, and I hear a sigh before Chains demands, “When is he back?” and I roll my eyes before I look at Cage, and he shakes his head in frustration.
Another church meeting to discuss club business, and the old-timers are still tagging along.
It’s beginning to seem like they don’t trust us to run the club. Even though we took over two years ago, fuck, Chains didn’t even want the role, so why in the fuck is he butting in every church?
Cage raises a brow and comments, “When he is good and ready,” before he looks at me, and I nod.
“Carnage Angel’s Girls is doing good, and the staff and customers are aware that the place will be shut for about two weeks while we upgrade,” I state, and Cage nods and looks towards my blood brother, most likely to ask about when his next shifts are. Before he can open his mouth, Killer speaks up.
“What upgrades? We never voted for upgrades?” he asks with confusion, and I take a deep breath.
Fuck me, these old timers are pissing me off…
“The officer brothers all met at the strip club to discuss the changes that are needed with the seating, the bar, the stages and even the staff rooms last week,” I grit.
“Why weren't we involved?” Treasure asks, but more out of curiosity by the sound of his tone, and I shake my head as Bones snaps, “Probably because it has fuck all to do with you. You are here out of respect, yet every church you’re all in here, butting in like we’re new to this shit! The strip club is outdated, our customers are now beginning to complain, and we, the officer brothers, made a vote that did not include a full club vote because it doesn’t change the amount of money the brothers get!”
“You wanted me to take over, Dad,” Cage states, “Yet lately, since Killer had found out he has a grandchild, you men have been in here, butting in, giving your two cents. Normally, old timers only attend church once a month, and honestly, I’ve fucking had enough of it. Just because you force your way in here doesn’t mean Crusher or Blaze will accept the shit Killer did over the years. He fucked up, but it doesn’t mean we have to deal with it. Crusher lets him in his grandson's life, Blaze has already confirmed he can be involved with his baby, so just leave it at that, yeah?”
