I wanted to pepper his entire face with kisses, but I settled for a soft peck on his lips.
As soon as I did, his gaze finally met mine.
I smiled.
“Let’s attach.”
His arms flung out instantly. They wrapped around my neck, pulling my face down to crush against his own. We were all lips and teeth as he flung his weight around. I tumbled down into the bed, and Luke pressed himself on top of me, covering my face in a flurry of kisses.
My lips and gums ached, having been thoroughly scratched and stabbed by his teeth as he slammed our mouths together.
Still, looking up into Luke’s face, washed in relief, I would take a thousand more painful kisses in exchange. Laughing, I playfully asked:
“Don’t you want me to feed you?”
Luke shook his head, his nose brushing against mine.
“Later. I want to eat you up first.”
I wanted to laugh again, but my mouth was entirely covered by his once more.
I would happily let him eat me if it meant we could be together like this forever. Images of Anthony and Noah in the grocery store flickered through my mind, though their forms were soon replaced with images of Luke and me, instead. We could be fated if we wanted to be, and I wanted nothing more.
Luke was mine, and I was his.
HEY. THIS IS noah. anthony wants to meet up and talk. not like a full appt or anything like that. just get to know each other over dinner. sound good?

CHAPTER ELEVEN
MY INTENT HAD been to carefully woo Corin over to me so I could make sure he would be mine forever. I hardly expected how quickly we’d go from sleeping together to me sleeping at his house every single night. After officially asking him out, Corin helped me move my stuff out of the hotel room I was staying at, and I had been staying with him ever since.
Sure, I was still living out of my suitcases, but this situationship had become super serious super quick.
I was happy about it, no doubt, but we still hardly knew each other, and my worth as a boyfriend at this point pretty much stopped at what I could give him in bed. I couldn’t cook for shit. Cleaning was never on my to-do list, and even if it was, I did the bare minimum and nothing more. I also had no income because I had no job.
All it would take was a better Dom or Sub to come around with at least a menial job, and I could be out on the street once again.
That was unacceptable.
So, after a week of newlywed bliss, the stress of wooing Corin was back at the forefront of my mind.
Most people took their partners out on dates, but I was broke as hell, so my options were limited. So while Corin was at work, I sat at his desk, back to cold-calling companies and using his laptop to look up cheap date ideas. I was half-tempted to text Everett for some more help, but I wasn’t sure I could handle prostrating myself before him again. Sure, it was fun teasing and annoying him, but I had some amount of pride I wanted to protect.
Plus, the only one I wanted to beg and tease was Corin.
Just the thought of him had me kicking my feet and giggling at his desk, even as what felt like the fiftieth company said they weren’t hiring or to apply online. I was about to move on to the next fast food place, one city over, when the front door lock clicked open.
I perked up, turning just in time to see Corin walk in.
His face seemed gaunt, dark circles blooming beneath his eyes. But then his gaze met mine, and a wash of color filled his face. He smiled, dropping his work bag on the floor and opening his arms.
I jumped right up and tiptoed my way over to him. As soon as I was within arm’s length, I crumpled against him, wrapping my arms around his waist and pulling him flush against me. His arms, meanwhile, draped over my back. We stood there, in the entranceway, holding each other like that for what felt like eternity, but even eternity wasn’t long enough.
Eventually, he pulled away, and there was some part of me that went with him, leaving me lonely and aching even though he was standing right in front of me.
